I can’t concentrate sometimes and weight gain along with prolactin due to enlarged breast is a concern. Some websites are saying their have been no withdrawals from invega reported. hard finding a psychiatrist for new diagnoses also. I have been diagnosed with F20.9, F84.0,Z91.89 Z65.9 if you can find the codes. The only concern is somewhat hallucinations but I know caffeine can cause some like whispers or something.
I've been taking regular adderall (non xr) for 10t years for ADHD. The medicine does help with the ADHD but I'm concerned with the long term effects. I know Adderall can cause weight loss /decrease appetite as a side effect. With the exception of the past couple of years I was able to keep my wieight down partly due to the drug. However the past 2 years or so I seem to be gaining wieight.
Please help. My son is autistic. He has bowel issues. He can hold in an enema. He is on several meds. Adderall, Metformin, Risperdol, clonidine. I'm wondering if the weight gain is causing the adderall to be less effective. He's on 20mgs in the morning and 10mgs in the afternoon. He complains about he can't focus any more. It's making him very upset and very hard to deal with. I'm at my wits end. He will only deal with me. I feel like I'm a terrible mother.
Been on prozac since March dr messed with dose till finally by late June i went to 50 mg...im also on wellbutrin,well weight gain and other problems dr said to cut back on prozac 10 mg a week,been doing that im down to 30 mg but i have bad depression like when i first began prozac,i was added a estrogen patch this past friday,i have no energy and im tired all the time..
Effexor, Prozac, Lexapro, etc. Often the gain was not instant, like with the older generation of meds. Took a year for one to put 50 lbs on me in a few months.
I also have been on Wellbutrin. It didn't help with depression, and increased anxiety to point where I had painful muscle spasms.
At 74, and after anal cancer treatment, the really awful side effect is non stop diarrhea, which almost landed me in the hospital in one case.
Does anyone else have this issue?? How did you cure it? I never lost weight with Adderall (thank god) because if I did I would've dipped into below average BMI since currently mine is 19. I am very insecure about how small I am and I've been gaining weight recently but due to this I'm losing again and I'm having a lot of self-esteem and self-worth issues due to it.
For the past 50 days I have been experimenting with adderall I saw the side effects of withdrawal and noticed that it made me lose an unattractive amount of weight as well as me not feeling like me anymore since I’m not a drug user.
(Prozac, EffexorXR, Wellbutrin, Xanax, Zoloft etc.) After all of those UPs and downs, losing weight, gaining weight, withdrawal symptoms, feeling like a zombie... I said, ENOUGH!! I got off all of those pills cold turkey. I threw them away, and didn't take one again. It was brutal... yes.. but I feel 100% better being off of them now.
From then, I still wanted to tackle my depression. I still felt like it was consuming my life, and there had to be a way to get around it.
I quit taking a painkiller about a month ago. Went through a long period of withdrawal where I ate very little. I actually went from a very fit 200lbs (6ft4) to around 175-180 over the span of 3 weeks. During that time I was taking a variety of medicines to help with the withdrawal, Klonopin, Simply Sleep, Adderall, Clonodine, Immodium, Advil, Pepto Bismol, Bentyl, and Tigan at various points depending on the symptom.
I got a physical at about 31 days since I quit.
GERD is what I initially thought after researching my symptoms. I've always had a nervous stomach, I've had issues with a nervous stomach since I was younger; throwing up easily. Do you know if GERD would cause my body to change so drastically? I don't understand the 40+ lb gain within a year.. Would GERD treatment resolve my swollen/excessive weight gain? I'm on day 14 of my suboxone withdrawals, checked myself in a 5 day opiate/alcohol detox and lied about what I was addicted to just so I could be lockdown. It was hell because nothing helped. My question is what can i do to get energy and deal with these post acute withdrawal symptoms?? I'm eating like a horse but can't gain any weight! I take melatonin and it helps a little at night. will clonazepam help with withdrawal from adderall? i know that the withdrawal will make me sleepy and tired, but will using the clonazepam img make it worse?
and a short acting adderall at noon also 30mg. Since back on adderall ...very motivated at times but moody , not sleeping , and so many mood swings and side effects. It makes him very tired at times and lay in bed all day. Could some of what he is dealing with be a side effects from coming off the prozac? How do you know what is what? Since back on adderall he's a rollercoaster of side effects.

I would say most probably not - it would probably leave you wide awake and very numb, only to have the withdrawal effect from two medications instead of one. Adderall is a mixture of Amphetamine salts, people that are accustom to taking this medication can sometimes fall asleep just as the medication reach's it's peak. Being that this is not something that you take regularly, it's going to have more of a narcotic effect.
