s weird too because I do have a bit of anxiety without the Adderall, but with the Adderall there is still some nervous energy there, but it feels more focused. Like the anxiety is attempting to rear its ugly head but I'm able to keep it at bay a little better. Maybe that's just a coincidence.

Hi I would tell your friend that adderall is just like speed. And it has very bad side effects ,one of the side effects is Seizures and she is also on wellbutrin and that has a warning all of it that it can cause Seizures also. So she shouldn't be on Adderall .
Have they ever done a EEG on your friend .is see she is on topomax and that is used for seizures also. she should get an EEG done on her. It may be that she is having Seizures and not ADD because ADD can look like Seizures.

I take adderall (10mg) for focus management. I have a couple side-effects that I don't really mind (dry mouth, loss of appetite, more outgoing/energy, weight loss) but I do have one strange one that I'm not too sure about.

I know from my wife's experience that a depression medication she takes can cause the problem you describe - she also had trouble with mental fog (memory and confusion). Lowering the dose has helped. Of course she still has to deal with the depression - but there are ways other than drugs to do that and ways that don't have side-effects on you body and mind.
I agree with your doctor. My brother is a recovering alcoholic who "abuses" caffeine because of the high it gives him. I firmly believe he is and has always been ADD, but it wasn't diagnosed back then. Caffeine has other side effects if used in excess. I cannot help but wonder if any of these parents have even taken the time to research the long-term effects of amphetamine on a small child’s mind? I know what adderall has done to my mind after 10 yrs. I started taking adderall in my mid twenties and it has caused some brain damage, it is difficult to remember what I did the day before or telephone numbers. I cannot even imagine what it is doing to a child's mind.
There are many people who are misdiagnosised .And like said already Adderall is just like speed. And can cause very bad side effects,like Seizures.I am not a Doctor but it sounds like you might of had a Seizure witch can happen from taken these drugs they use along with other very bad side effects.
Try taken Vitamin B6 and B12 and Omega 3-6-9 every day and see if that helps you in time to be able to do things better.
