adderall

Avatar m tn bacterial infections! So I started researching side effects to Adderall and after much digging around I finally came across a post in a woman's forum regarding a common STD which is a bacterial infection and the women were discussing Adderall. Sure enough, there were tons of ladies complaining that they have had an increase in all that is bacterial infections since taking the medicine. It seems to be linked, Bacterial Infections and Adderall.

Any feedback from users of Adderall or Adderall XR would be greatly appreciated. Topics to be added this week on http://Adderall.org How is Adderall XR different from Adderall? Avatar n tn I do smoke cigarettes and have coffee every day, which may also increase these side effects. I am nervous for my health, but do realize that for the most part I never get these tics or nervousness in my heart. My heart rate usually does not increase and I do not have shortness of breath.
Avatar f tn For the first few weeks I had no unpleasant side effects other than not wanting to eat and dry mouth. However, several days ago late at night (6 hours after taking my last dose) I experienced a rapid, pounding heartbeat which scared me. Why would I experience that 6 hours after taking a 10mg dose? And why would those side effects appear weeks after taking the medication with no problems?
Avatar n tn We have finally found a medication that allows my boy to have success in school, but the negative side effects are outweighing the postive response to the meds. Has anyone heard of the appetite returning after a time?
5717054 tn?1372958545 Definitely weird side effects. Adderall takes at least 20 to 30 min. to take effect and I assume the problems happen after this. Do talk with you doctor. You could try a regular adderall so it doesn't last as long and try only a small dose. There are meds for vertigo and even things like ginger hard candies which work for seasickness. Being bed ridden is the last thing you need. You need to be getting in good long walks, etc.

Avatar n tn I take adderall (10mg) for focus management. I have a couple side-effects that I don't really mind (dry mouth, loss of appetite, more outgoing/energy, weight loss) but I do have one strange one that I'm not too sure about. I take my adderall after I eat a full breakfast, which is normally my only meal of the day (adderall dismisses my appetite). After about an hour of taking my medication, I have to go to the bathroom.
5717054 tn?1372958545 Hi, and welcome to the Anxiety forum. You're in the right place. All meds can have possible side effects. Most times it takes a couple of weeks or so for are bodies to get used to these meds and for the side effects to go away. I'm sorry to can't get in touch with your Dr right now but you can call your pharmacy and ask what the side effects are. Mine has helped me out many times with my meds when I could'nt reach my Dr.
Avatar f tn what are the side effects of taking adderol while pregnant? i just found out i am 17 wks pregnant and i am taking 60 mg of adderol daily as prescribed. i am so scared of the side effects for the baby and im very worried about coming off the adderol and withdrawling.
Avatar n tn 3 weeks would not be long enough for prozac to start working properly, but it can still cause side effects in that time, and if the side effects are bad then it's not unusual for a doctor to take their patient straight off it as there wont be withdrawl symptoms unless the patient has been on it for quite a while.
Avatar m tn Definitely tell you doctor ASAP. Side effects are so varied with each drug and effects each individual differently. All I can say is that I went on ADD medicine and had lots of side-effects and they passed within a few weeks to a month or so. Again, it might take longer for others. You could consider switching to another medicine.
Avatar f tn My daughter has been on Adderall imediate release twice a day for a year now for ADHD and has no side effects. She actually is a better eater and sleeps better with it. I am not sure why you take it but i do know that the XR did give her bad side effects. She was more hyper and was losing weight. Maybe you could try the 20 milligrams of the immediate release instead of the XR twice a day or even a lower dose. You maybe sensitive to the high of a dose.
Avatar n tn You can research it to better understand hard to explain in chemistry terms. The side effects of Lexapro tend to be less severe than Celexa also. The above answer that was left by Paxiled is all correct as well.
Avatar m tn Im a current addict (i abuse it) of this drug and Im struggling to get off it. Adderall can have many many side effects. If your son keeps having those symptoms try and talk to your doctor.
Avatar n tn Oh I am sorry I didnt realise that well how about you put something into your search Engine regarding it, put Adderall side effects, in.there are also other Forums out there, are you due to see your Doctor soon maybe put it to him .I have read that if the wrong dose is administered there can be a problem but I am assuming you gave the dosage you were told to give,Has your child got a problem now ,that you are asking for infromation regarding it.
Avatar f tn I agree with Sandman2 that you are taking too much. The first medication the doctor tried on me was vyvanse. I started on 30 mg which didn't last long enough. I was in college when I was taking it and took it at 9am and it was gone by 3-4pm. She increased my dose to 50 mg which was too much for me.
