m wondering if all that is going on is A)side effects from adderall B)possible withdrawal symptoms or detoxing from concerta since she's Moody and head & stomach hurt and is pale and clammy and just doesn't feel good (in the past I was dependant on opioids so I know all to well how withdrawal can feel) or C)emotional and mood issues worsening from ADHD not being under proper control. I do smoke cigarettes and have coffee every day, which may also increase these side effects. I am nervous for my health, but do realize that for the most part I never get these tics or nervousness in my heart. My heart rate usually does not increase and I do not have shortness of breath.

I began 20mgs of Adderall XR/daily a couple weeks ago. I have had several smaller side effects since the beginning including: appetite suppression, changes in sexual ability/desire and slightly increased heartrate (i'm a runner so my heartrate is about 80bpm resting, but 30 - 40 bpm faster than normal) additionally, I sweat more while on adderall. Very recently, I noticed a weird sporadic feeling in my body.

Definitely weird side effects. Adderall takes at least 20 to 30 min. to take effect and I assume the problems happen after this. Do talk with you doctor. You could try a regular adderall so it doesn't last as long and try only a small dose. There are meds for vertigo and even things like ginger hard candies which work for seasickness. Being bed ridden is the last thing you need. You need to be getting in good long walks, etc.

Taking medical marijuana has no side effects on or from Adderall. I am guessing that the reason he was taking the MJ might have more to do with it. And whatever the reason he was taking the MJ might have more to do with how he now is acting then anything else. Was the doc who took him off the MJ, a psyc or a primary physician? The key may have been when he said, he "wants to live more fluidly". Kind of sounds like a midlife crisis type of thing to me.

hi, concerta ,and stratara, and all the others my doc put me on didn't come close to adderall. focalin worked to but was costly. adderall leavels your brain, and lets you be yourself. the way your supose to be.

I've been taking regular adderall (non xr) for 10t years for ADHD. The medicine does help with the ADHD but I'm concerned with the long term effects. I know Adderall can cause weight loss /decrease appetite as a side effect. With the exception of the past couple of years I was able to keep my wieight down partly due to the drug. However the past 2 years or so I seem to be gaining wieight.
