good, stay as low as you can possibly get away with as long as you can. in the first few months it's likely that it IS actually still working how it should theraputically, however there is some euphoria from it that may wear off and make you feel like it's not working as well.
i'm 25 and have been on 60-90mg/day for 4 years now and i still gotta admit that it works to keep me focused and on task at work, however any hint of euphoria has been gone since about 2.5 years into it.
i had a really bad major depression day where i thought it be a good isea to take 210mg of adderall at once with a fiorecete with codeine, but started by taking 3 darvicet. my normal dosage is 30mg a day but i can only take 20. 30 i cant breathe. i took the 210mgs at like 300p today and all that happend was i got extremly nauseas n threw up but thats all. i feel sick. i had the sweaths but no tingeling or shortness of breath. i cant sleep.

So he was placed on the same dosage of Adderall that he was on previously. 20 mg 2 times a day, and was also put on Zoloft. I was wondering what other medications would help with mood problems and anger issues? And what would be the fastest acting medication he could take? At this point I have found that eating more and getting at least two or three really good nights of sleep will restore the effect of adderall on normal dosage. Of course to get the good sleep you have to lower your dose of adderall for a day and don't take any after about 11:00 am in the morning they day you decide to get a good night of sleep. It also has to be natural sleep, no sleeping pills. I don't know why but 9 hours of sleep with sleeping pills does not do any good.

If you want the adderall energy, it would probably be better to lower dosage or cut out xanax altogether rather than continually upping the adderall. Your bp may be a bit raised on adderall anyway, no need to put excess pressure on your heart by making it work against a downer like xanax. Also possible that the initial side effects of prozac (which usually go away within a week or 2) may be diminishing adderall's effects as well.

I currently take Levothyroxine 88mcg(μg) in the morning and 2 doses of Adderall (instant release, not XR) 20mg - one in the morning before classes and the second one whenever I need it depending on my classes that day or things I need to work on. I also later added Celexa 20mg which helped a lot with the anxiety and mood swings - especially from the "crash" of the Adderall.

The dose might be too high. I've had similar things happen when I was on too high a dosage of Adderall. If I'm not mistaken, Vyvanse is a longer-duration version of dextroamphetamine - not too far from adderall, which is a mixture of amphetamine salts (mostly dextroamphetamine). Ive been on many different anti depressants for years, my Dr. finally said it may be add and added 5mg of adderall 2x's a day. I think it might make a little difference. If it is Add would 5 mg make any difference?
