Hummm, first time I have heard of that problem. Usually adderall is out of your system in 8 to 10 hours. This really sounds like it might be due to something else that you are taking? An anti-anxiety medication which builds up in your system would be my first guess. Are you on any other medications?
The adderall is essentially out of your system 4 hours after taking it - unless you are on an extended version. Either way, its out of your system by the end of the day. That is why you have to retake it the next day.

I also wonder if you need it twice a day? or if the second dose needs to be as strong.
You might try a stronger dose of ritalin. It would be out of your system in 4 hours instead of 8 (give or take) with concerta.
Adderall is a amphetamine while ritalin/concerta is a methylphenidate.
The symptoms should ease at night when the meds no longer in system. If the symptoms are still there, it may not be related. Could be an ear problem that just happened at same time? Hope this helps a little.
i ran out of my 20 mg of prozac i have been down from 40 to 30 for about a weeek and the last couple days i have had only 20 mgs cause i had 10 mg pills..didnt know if i could take 3 10 mg pills to equal 30...i have been on prozac since march 3...do u think its reached its efffective stage yet...i feel ok after two days on 20 ,,,or i wonder if i need to go back up...

I just recently got my wisdom teeth out and was prescribed an antibiotic for it. i am currently taking the antibiotic and stopped taking the pain killer they gave me about 4 days ago. i have an upcoming test and was maybe going to take some adderall to help me study. i do not have ADD and am not prescribed adderall. i know it may be harmful but i have done it in the past and i seemed to be fine. i was wondering if maybe taking the adderall while on the antibiotic would be a problem?
m a 31 year old male and I was recently prescribed Adderall IR 10mg for ADD. The Psychiatrist told me to take two pills a day, as each pill gets out of your system within/around 4 hours. I noticed upon taking the first pill on the first day around 9am, I didn't feel it wearing off until the early evening, so I wasn't about to take another. Although the "wearing off" made me feel exhausted and the same feeling on the second day.

I have changed anything in my diet except eating a bit better. I don't exercise as much as I should and this hasn't change either. When the adderall is in my system I can't eat and when it wears off I try to eat somethings sensible.
It is like adderall ( a stimulant) and should be out of your system fairly quickly. Of course, it does depend if you took the extended release version or not. Essentially, if you look at the label, the time it gives between doses plus half again should be a pretty good indicator that most of it is out of your system.
I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.
figured I would add my 2 cents. I started taking Adderall about 4 months ago. I immediately noticed painful ejaculation. But, only if it was in the window when the Adderall was at therapeutic levels. If I was under 3 hours after dose it would happen... or if I had taken 3 doses during the day (precribed amount) and had sex in the evening. I took an extra dose today and noticed very painful ejaculation and blood.
Oh, I am sorry to hear this. There are probably several things going on here. As you hopefully know, if you have ADHD, the adderall can give you a bit more control over your life. It can reduce your impulsivity, strengthen your ability to concentrate, and many times it will help with anxiety and/or depression because it helps you overcome some of those things that had been making you anxious or depressed.
There would have really been no problem with him going cold turkey.

Do some trial and error. Both meds will be out of your system by the next day. Work out once on meds and then the next time without. If you don't have one you might also want to get a heart monitor to help with your workouts and track what has been going on.

It's basically the same as a Red Bull and all energy drinks. NOT a relevant solution or replacement for Adderall. Generic IR Adderall isn't expensive at all and is called mixed amphetamine salts or amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts. Something like less than a dollar per pill.
