I was recently diagnosed with adult add. My doctoe prescribed adderall 20mg a day. It helps a lot with focus & motivation. But when I am at work or in social settings I feel paranoid & xtreme anxiety. My doc said he is upping my prozac that would help with social anxiety. But it will take a month to feel a benefit from that & the adderall will probably just override it. I did not take the adderall todday b4 work. I don't know what to do. Just take adderall on my days off?
You need to get a liver biopsy ASAP to determine how far your liver damage has progressed. End of the story! If you have been diagnosed this long and have high liver enzymes and have been drinking you really do need to find out where you stand and if you need to do treatment.

I started taking Adderall 1 yr prior to getting really ill. I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I wonder if Adderall doesn't cause permenant damage. I was a healthy energetic 30yo before I started taking adderall. I discontinued taking it and I did start back on it and it didn't help with my pain, but actually gave me severe headaches and mild seizures. I'm glad it's helping you though. At least you're getting relief from your symptoms someway.
The recommended dose of paracetamol for a single adult is two standard 500 mg tablets. Researches have reported that the threshold for liver damage to start from a single paracetamol overdose is 15 gms (30 tablets). However liver damage could start to occur at a single overdose of 24 standard tablets or 150 mg/kg body weight, (whichever is the smaller).
I have been taking Darvocet for about two years now. I began just taking one a week at night after a bad day and it has progressed to 1-3 daily for about 6 months now. I went to the Dr. for a checkup yesterday and the ALT liver function test was high. The other liver tests were normal just that one was high. The Dr. thinks it is from my acid reflux medication and is changing that but I rarely take it. Could it be the Darvocet?

The only way to truly ease your mind is by being totally honest with him/her. I have liver damage and kidney damage due to drugs stage 2 liver stage 3 kidney.. if your liver were damaged and you had a flare your belly would be extended/pain upper right you would be lethargic/vomiting.. other symptoms but these being severe.. It is not fun and I would not wish it on anyone.. I contracted hep C from slamming and further continued the damage through pills/alcohol..
I took an adderall this morning that my friend gave me (20mg time release); I had papers for Grad School to do, plus I work full time and she said it would help get me through the day and get everything done. It most certainly did but now its late in the evening and I still feel somewhat antsy and not very tired. I know someone that I care about dearly who takes 25 mg of Adderall a day for ADD. The other night she was taking pills like candy and going insane with them and just swallowing them. She has about 280 -300 mg of adderall in her system right now at this moment. She took the 280-300mg of adderall all in the past 24 hours and she is acting like she is on speed. I used to use caffine to pick me up when the adderall was wearing off but I notice this always ended up in a downward spiral until I stop the caffine for about a week and felt good again. Instead of using caffine to pick me up once the adderall wears off I just take more adderall now but not enough to get that PEP feeling. If you take enough adderall to get the pepped up feeling every day your tolerance will increase quickly.
I do not do hard drugs but i do have a question about adderall. I snort it from time to time to help study for huge tests or to focus for big papers. I am wondering if snorting adderall will lead to holes in my nose? if so, how long do you have to snort to cause that problem. I only snort like 20 mgs and not on a daily basis.
