I am not sure of all the meds he has tried but he started with Adderall. I don’t remember what you call it but it was a one a day not extended release. It worked really well but he had problems with his blood pressure. Since then he had being trying different meds and it seems as though he is getting worse. Now he is severely depressed and like a totally different person. I am not sure how he got so far gone.

i was diagnosed with add in highschool and put on vyvanse for about a year (my parents thought i was too young to be taking stimulants so they took me off it). it worked amazingly with focus and keeping my racing thoughts organized. from the time i dropped out of school to now i basically have always been taking opiates whether it was pain killers or since i’ve been on suboxone.

I got a doc at a gov clinic to write me a one month prescription for Adderall once because I told him I was out. He told me that I would never be able to get the Adderall proscription from that clinic again. He was a general practitioner. They didn't stock it in their pharmacy either, so I paid out of pocket. I know I've asked this before, but what KIND of stimulant effect will Adderrall have if I don't have ADD? Amild one like drining a 12 oz soft drink with caffeine? A major effect like 5 cups of very strong coffee? I'm not a coffee drinker so 3 cups of strong coffee really hypes me up. Why is my 'shrink' trying to treat my Adult ADD with Bubropion HCL SR (100mg tab 2X a day)? Is this the right med for me? Good grief...it didn't even cut out my smoking. I have been taking 54mg of concerta for my ADD for about 4 years now. I dont feel like it is working the best for me though. I dont feel much like myself i feel zombie-like and kind of out of it. It keeps my mind awake but my body is telling me im exhausted. I was recently diagnosed with adult add. My doctoe prescribed adderall 20mg a day. It helps a lot with focus & motivation. But when I am at work or in social settings I feel paranoid & xtreme anxiety. My doc said he is upping my prozac that would help with social anxiety.
