ve been on Wellbutrin 300mg for a yr for the depression, Cymbalta 60mg for the last 7 months for the anxiety and Adderall 40mg for the ADHD all have been increased doseages up to now. Do these 3 meds all work together? I feel irritable, moody, agitated easily, short fused, and very frustrarted. Are these the right meds to take together, are they maybe cancelling out one or another?
At this point I have found that eating more and getting at least two or three really good nights of sleep will restore the effect of adderall on normal dosage. Of course to get the good sleep you have to lower your dose of adderall for a day and don't take any after about 11:00 am in the morning they day you decide to get a good night of sleep. It also has to be natural sleep, no sleeping pills. I don't know why but 9 hours of sleep with sleeping pills does not do any good.
My daughter is very competetive in track and just stared taking adderall for her ADD. Will the adderall slow her running down? She is very concerned.
I stopped taking my perscription to adderall xr 30mg two weeks ago since my semester at college was over. I was taking this dosage for almost three months. Adderall 10 mg = Vyvanse 30 mg, Adderall 20 mg = Vyvanse 50 mg, Adderall 30 mg = Vyvanse 70 mg. I always start lower than expected with a change to Vyvanse, as for about 10-15% that anticipated dose of Vyvanse proves too much. I don’t want folks on my watch to experience 10% problems."

I currently take Levothyroxine 88mcg(μg) in the morning and 2 doses of Adderall (instant release, not XR) 20mg - one in the morning before classes and the second one whenever I need it depending on my classes that day or things I need to work on. I also later added Celexa 20mg which helped a lot with the anxiety and mood swings - especially from the "crash" of the Adderall.
But with ADD meds, no one can tell you what will work best for you, or what dosage, before you try it.
Adderall is a cakewalk compared to opiates. You will be just fine. Kids stay on adderall and still get into Harvard--in fact, kids are purposefully getting on adderall to improve their grades.
Coming off something like adderall is in no way, shape or form as hard as painkillers so I know you can do it. Just drink lots of juice, have some tylenol just in case.

But typically doctors start you off at the lowest possible logical amount and then wait for feedback before upping the dosage. The 30mg adderall that you were on was probably an extended release version. It was bigger because it packed enough to last all day. Allergies are pretty rare, and if you had it, I think that you would know fairly rapidly. Remember, anxiety can easily cause breathing troubles (hyperventilating, etc.). Beers shouldn't be a problem.

your son has apparently experienced positive results with Concerta which is a form of methylphenidate, while Adderall is a form of dextroamphetamine (Ritalin and Dexedrine). Frequently the forms of methylphenidate work better for ADHD Hyperactive while the dextroamphetamines work better for the Inattentive.
Which is your son? To compound matters further if he is an "active" young man, is his activity "motor" or "distractablitIy" driven?
The dose might be too high. I've had similar things happen when I was on too high a dosage of Adderall. If I'm not mistaken, Vyvanse is a longer-duration version of dextroamphetamine - not too far from adderall, which is a mixture of amphetamine salts (mostly dextroamphetamine). Mention it to your pdoc - chances are it's from the dosage and it needs to be changed a bit.
When mine was a bit too high, I noticed weird things like that, such as my tongue would continually rub my teeth.

Ive been on many different anti depressants for years, my Dr. finally said it may be add and added 5mg of adderall 2x's a day. I think it might make a little difference. If it is Add would 5 mg make any difference?

Please help. My son is autistic. He has bowel issues. He can hold in an enema. He is on several meds. Adderall, Metformin, Risperdol, clonidine.
