Recently I have been diagnosed with a serious kidney infection. My only problem is that the antibiotics are not working in the manner that they are supposed to. I have been sick for a week and a half, and still have symptoms. These are my symptoms: kidney pain, this potent urine, weakness/faintness, skin apearing transluscent and colorless, constipation and weight gain. Can someone please help me understand if these symptoms or illness is caused by my amphetamine addiction?

She said something that scared me. She said with the lexapro at 10 mg and the adderall xr at 20 mg in the morning and 10 mg in the afternoon that combo could be causing serotonin syndrome??!! Would I just get that out of nowhere?? I mean i have taken this combo for a while now. I have had some form of anxiety throughout.! I emailed the doc and told him. I went for an ECG blood tests , blood sugar tests,liver and kidney tests and a long x-ray and everything is fine I have no history of heart conditions but something about amphetamine scare me. Or is this just because of the bad press I'm just interested in your opinions. Also do any of you know a give who takes dosages this high?

Concerta, 30mg Adderall IR, and 30mg Adderall XR. Concerta gave me migraines. Adderall XR completely sucked. Adderall IR was the best medication that I found until Vyvanse. Now I think Adderall is horrible in comparison. I've been taking 30mg of Vyvanse for a few months now. This has been my adjusted dose from trying 20mg, 30mg, and 50mg. 50mg was wayy too much at the time. 30mg was perfect until about a month ago. It lasted about 12 hours, a huge improvement over 4 hours of Adderall IR.

If you have stress and anxiety already you shouldn't be taken something that can cause you to have even more of it along with other side effects that have cause sudden death and heart problems and even stroke and seizures. and seizures can be brough on by stress and anxiety. the doctors should try you on things like ,zoloft or celexa and there are many other drug you can try.

My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.

I have a poor diet, sometimes eating nothing for two days, and really do not drink water, just diet soda. I suspect Adderall could be causing the problems. Any ideas?

Stay hydrated and take your meds!!!! I was in the hosp for a kidney infection last month and I got the flu and pneumonia on top of it b.c I let myself go untreated for too long. It is no fun! They give you iv meds that make you feel like crap. So just be sure to finish your entire dose of meds and drink plenty!!

This morning I woke up and my left side below my ribs in my back is aching pretty bad and if I tap it with my fist it hurts worse. Antibiotics for UTIs and kidney infections are often the same ones, so hopefully if it is a kidney infection it clears it up too. I've had a kidney infection before and it was terrible pain :/ Hope you get sorted out and feel better soon!

How long should a severe kidney infection last? I have had it for 5 weeks now and still having a hard time recovering. Still sometimes have chills and fever, night sweats and very fatigued. I have taken omnicef and taken all of it.

I have looked at symptoms of kidney infection and the only part that fits is the throbbing back pain. No fever, no nausea or vomiting, chills. I am fatigued, but I haven't been sleeping well because if the throbbing pain. I have been drinking plenty of fluids, cranberry juice and lots of water. I hate to waste the money on another doctor visit if they are just going to give me a muscle relaxer for back pain.
