I have suffered from severe fatigue and muscle weakness for quite a while (I am a healthy weight and went from previously feeling perfectly fine to feeling very weak and tired all the time.)
Recently it was discovered that my vitamin D levels are very low, so I was put on 50000 iu Vitamin D once weekly for eight weeks. I began this treatment about two weeks after I got on the pill, Sprintec.
I take adderall for disthymia, and now I'm planning on starting a family. I know I should quit, but being on that stuff is the first time I've felt normal since I was nine, and I am debilitatingly unproductive without it. So, ym question is, what are the risks to a developing fetus, and how high are the chances of something going wrong?
My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.
oh honey, get him off that stuff! my son has adhd and bipolar, and they tried to treat both, but adderall is a definite no-no. it increases aggressive behavior and raging. you will have to teach him to deal with paying attention, but you can't treat bipolar using any other technique than drugs and therapy. take him off soon, and let usknow how it goes. good luck to you!
I've been prescribed adderall for the past 4 years, I currently take 75mg per day. A couple months ago my Dr. started me on strattera in conjunction with my adderall. I have not noticed any improvement in my ability to concentrate or remain organized since starting the strattera, however my anxiety is gone and I am finally happy.
A couple weeks ago my Dr. left and I was given a "temp" to take her place.
Only prescription meds are birth control for cramps (started after symptoms began) and adderrall (taken for many years before symptoms started) and excedrin as needed. Started summer of 2020. Less frequent early winter but started again February 2021 and has been 2-5 days a week since then. Any ideas??
I take Adderall and have daily for about five months and occasionally get an uncomfortable tingling/numbness on my arms and face but today it wasn't just uncomfortable, I thought I was going to die. While driving I began to feel a tingling sensation in my face, arms and legs. The sensation slowly intencified and soon my whole body was tingling unbelievably (worst in my chest and abbs). I steped out of my car and could barly walk and had little control over my muscles.
At that point I was taking Klonopin and Adderall still. My doctor tested my TSH and my Free T3 levels because he was concerned about the weight loss.
The results came back with a TSH of 1.18 (.34-4.82) and a Free T3 of 4.47 (2.50-4.30).
So here's the thing. I have had they symptoms of hyperthyroid for a long time. It is the main reason I was taking pain medication. At a point while I was taking the pain medication I had these same tests done and they came back normal.
having four drinks or more during any point of pregnancy greatly increases the risk of low birth weight, birth defects and fetal alcohol syndrome (even if only done once, as its impossible to tell what damage is done at which stage). prescription drugs are also not recommended and can cause similar effects but i would be far more concerned about her alcohol consumption, as it is entirely nonmedical and can cause severe damage. i would suggest support groups or even rehab if she cant stop.
Then, about 2 ½ years ago I had a near-psychotic meltdown, mostly about the devil and evil spirits, and was diagnosed with OCD and prescribed Anafranil and Zyprexa, which helped with the irrational thinking and obsessive thoughts a little. Between now and then, I have been diagnosed with OCD, Social anxiety disorder, GAD, major depressive disorder, ADHD, and most recently, aspergers/high functioning autism.

She took the 280-300mg of adderall all in the past 24 hours and she is acting like she is on speed. She is 120 pounds and is about 5'4''. Could you please tell me if she needs call a poison control right away? Can she die? I am soooo worried about her!! What are some effects that could possibly happen? What should I do? What are the worst things that could happen? Please answer it as soon as possible because it may be too late to do anything about it later.
before i used to be the brightest in my class and now i have come down from my grades and i dont school anymore because im just too sleepy to keep my self awake in class or hard to concentrate in anythjng.i cant even read a sentence,it wont go to my head and i'd just have to trad time like 10 times to get it into my head.i however consulted doctors and did bloodtests which all came out normal.they then suggested medicines for the excessive sleepiness nothing seemed to work.

It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control. Adderall is used to treat narcolepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADD.
It is not a narcotic although there are those who mistreat it for its affects. I'm pretty sure you'll be just fine for urine test and should not be affected by it at all.
I am 17 years old and I have put myself under a lot of pressure in school the last few days. I take adderall for ADD (20mg XR) and in order to study harder and motivate myself I made the mistake of using a 10mg short acting tablet by crushing it into powder and snorting it. I have done it a few times since and I would like to know you have any advice. I know you're not supposed to snort it, but as I said I've had a hard time lately.
Here goes.... 42 yo. female on 10mg lisinopril, birth control pill, adderall, no major health issues. I'm a little overweight (~10 lbs.), have lost nearly 20 lbs. over the past year thanks to adderall (not why I'm taking it, just nice side effect).
About 8 months ago I had the worst stomach ache and nausea that started shortly after going to bed for the night.
does anyone else take xanx and adderall to gethr................
