Avatar m tn Having this as my main source of anxiety I can often relate to many of the various situations out in this community. Avatar f tn Other things that help with energy are things like Chloryphyl (in liquid form) and you just add it to your water. It helps with energy. Like Cathy mentioned the Thomas Recipe and the Amino Acid Protocol - as found down on the lower right hand corner of this page. Good luck!!!
684030 tn?1415612323 Could you please add Treadmill to the exercise chart where the activities are listed on the Exercise Tracker? I know that Walking is listed. However, resistance walking on a Treadmill is a different and more intense work-out than typical non-resistant walking. Thanks!
Avatar f tn What you need to do is up your calories. How much depends on how much weight you need to gain. At lead add an extra 100 calories. Now first idea that comes to mind when told you need to gain weight is "Awesome I can eat as much junk as I want." No. Add the extra calories you need via healthy calories and fats. Pass over the donut, pick up some coconut or nuts. Some good ways to add fats and calories: Coconut- milk in curries, smoothies, or homemade ice cream.
Avatar n tn Both her weight and height are just below the 5th percentile for her age. She is 29 months old and should be eating regular foods (the food you eat) cut up in small pieces and eating on her own. As a guideline for a 29 month old child should eat the following: Dairy 4 feedings a day –Milk or breast milk (4oz), cheese (½ oz), yogurt (½ cup), or cottage cheese (¼ cup). Starch 4 feedings a day – Cereal (¼ cup), pasta (¼ cup), rice (¼ cup), bread (½ slice), or crackers (2).

5973125 tn?1378575863 My boyfriend wanted to get back on Adderall and I don't want him too. He starred a new job and wanted to be able to concentrate better. I don't not agree with taking these sort of drugs. I found that taking vitamin c, vitamin b complex (with all the vitamin b's) and omega 3 pills help ADD. I wondered if anyone here has tried them. Please don't try to talkme into him taking Adderall. With all due respect I just don't believe in it period.
572651 tn?1530999357 Hi Ya! Yes! It sounds familiar to me! I hadn't given it much thought, but there is one particular area on the top of my head that often feels weird - almost like burning; no redness or anything either. It is painful to the touch and sometimes painful when not touched. I have a neuro appt tomorrow with a long list of questions for him, but I'll add this and let you know if he comes up with anything. Thanks for posting...
Avatar f tn I have been recently been told that I have a 10 mm side to side difference of anterior tibial translation. I was told by one source that I need a revision. Another source thought this was an acceptable difference for a female with a hamstring graft. My total anterior tibial translation in the ACL knee was 17mm. I also had one source perform a pivot shift test, and got a clunk, which I felt. The other source got a glide, which was also a new development from this source.

Avatar f tn Research food combinations for optimal absorption, for example; having a source of vitamin C with a source of Iron will help you better absorb the Iron. A good way to start the day would be oat (I add vanilla and cinnamon for some flavour) add a teaspoon of ground flax seed or a teaspoon of chia seeds to your oats, both will provide you with omega 3.
Avatar n tn My daughter is 8 years old and has ADD. Her medication is helping her so much in school but she doesn't have an appatite. We have tried several differend ADD meds and they all have the same effect on her appatite. What can I do to help gain just a little and keep her at a healthy weight?
Avatar f tn Add dry milk to oatmeal, mashed potatoes, gravies, creamed vegetables, and creamed soups (add additional meats to soups). If she likes pasta, then add meat or cream sauces to the pasta instead of plain tomato sauce or plain pasta. Hope this helps you.
Avatar m tn Heat a large (12-inch) stainless steel pan over medium heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and cook until soft, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the garlic and cook another 30 seconds, stirring. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula or spoon. Cook until the meat is no longer pink, about 2 minutes. Add the ancho chili powder, 1 tablespoon of the cumin, the coriander and the chipotle powder. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer, stirring.
Avatar n tn Vegetables (¼ cup). Protein source 2 feedings a day – Meat or fish (1oz), egg (1), or beans (¼ cup). She should eat 3 meals and have snacks between meals using the foods above to be spread out throughout the day. Suggest in place of milk and at the end of each meal give her milkshakes (milk and ice cream blended together – add a banana if he will accept it) or yogurt smoothies (yogurt, milk, and frozen fruit blended together) or a Pediasure milkshake for increase acceptance.
