Does Acyclovir make anyone else feel completely terrible? I get terrible headaches, dizzy, diarrhea and feel just awful. im not sure which is worse sometimes.
His main concern is the burning on top of his feet. Is there anything natural, homeopathic, etc. that might help. What mad eyou start suppressive therapy? You might want to consider switching to acyclovir or famvir instead and see if you do better on either of those. You can even start off at a low, subtheraputic dose and gradually increase your dose over the course of 2-3 weeks and see if you tolerate that better too.
After taking Acyclovir I noticed I've encountered a severe outbreak. Even worse than before taking the medication. This has been so frustrating too say the least. I have been having continuous outbreaks since October 2015, my partner has not had one outbreak. Since my doctors diagnosis I have been so discouraged too say the least. herpes doesn't "never go away" . even though you have hsv2, that doesn't mean that everything going on genitally is due to herpes. following up with the dermatologist if your gyn is stumped is a good idea. how were you diagnosed as having hsv2? did you have a lesion culture done?

Hi grace long time since I spoke with you. I have been taking Lysine for outbreaks since April 2013 and my outbreaks seem to be under control. I decided to give it a try because it's natural as opposed to acyclovir also I want to see how my body responds to it. So far things seems to be fine although I have been only taking it for two months. Grace have you ever taken it or know someone who has and what has the outcome been for them.
I would like some advice on getting some type of OTC drug or natural supplement that may replace antibiotics. I have had a sinus and gum infection along w/headaches and tooth pain for 4 mos. I live in VA., and they don't sell antibiotics OTC like some sates do. In addition, I have BV and I hope that the antibiotic would help that too. Also, I'm uninsured and cannot see a physician, therefore, I cannot obtain a prescription.

We also don't know how old you are, and both certain medications and some natural remedies are inappropriate for people under a certain age.

had what appeared to be two bug bites on buttocks, that joined together and formed many vesicles. Acyclovir was begun the 2nd day(1600 to 1200 mg per day) for 12 days. The vesicles never fully developed and over 3 weeks the lesion subsided. No test was done. Two days ago a bug bite appeared on the lower abdomen, above pubic area. It is red and has one blister in the center and is sore. Perhaps more vesicles will develop. . No acyclovir this time.
