I took my first active pill the morning after the active finished and then that evening had unprotected sex but he pulled out before finishing, then the next day I took the emergency contraceptive pill within 24hours and continued taking my pill as per usual. Do you think I have anything to worry about?
m starting on the pill (minerva) for contraceptive purposes...do i just take the pill as per usual starting in the silver section on the first use...but then when i need to move on to the next package my period does not fall into place with the section that I'm supposed to be on period in and where I'm supposed to start.. Hi I wanted to know, I am on a contraceptive pill to regulate my period with 21 hormone pills and 7 sugar pills. If I take the pill at the same time everyday does ovulation occur? I am not having sex though is it possible to get pregnant if my boyfriend has a pre-*** in the region of my clitoris? If it is possible are the chances less because I am on the pill? This is something that has been on my mind for a while so an answer would be much appreciated.
The best for anyone who is sexually active, unmarried and not trying for a child, is for the female to be on some form of birth control (the pill, the IUD, or Norplant) AND for the male to use condoms. Not one or the other. The pill, IUD, etc. will prevent pregnancy but not disease. Condoms will help greatly to prevent disease (given that they are used properly) but are not considered 100% for preventing pregnancy.
If you've had unprotected sex and have taken an emergency contraceptive pill within 24 hours of unprotected sex, should you begin taking a birth control pill immediately? What if you haven't started taking the pill yet; should you still wait until you get your next period or will taking it asap help prevent a pregnancy?

I started the pill after my period. Apparently it's not effective for seven days and we didn't use any form of extra contraception. Now five days after ovulation I had spotting for one day....very light pink... would you say this is implantation bleeding? Any help would be amazing.
I have unprotected sexual intercourse with my partner on wednesday night, and i went to visit the doctor to get plan B pills as well as normal contraceptive pills. I have taken the first pill on thursday night, and friday morning for the second pill. But we had unprotected sexual intercourse again on friday night.
I am on the contraceptive pill but there is a chance I may be pregnant as I missed a few pills running up to my fertile days and had intercourse on these days If I am pregnant and continue taking the pill can it be dangerous for the baby? I had the contraceptove implant put in 2 weeks ago today, 3 days before my expected period. I had it inserted because I wasn't getting along with the contraceptive pill as I fell pregnant and miscarried and it made me extremely ill. However, I'm finding that the contraceptive implant is near enough having the same effects on me that the contraceptive pill had done.
I was pre-warned that I had to wait at least 7 days for it to be effective.
ll also want to be aware that when you are on birth control, you do experience monthly bleeding due to the withdrawal of hormones on that last week of the pill pack. Since the bleeding is in response to the suddenly stopped hormone intake, you can experience what is called breakthrough bleeding if you are late taking your pill or miss one or two pills.
Do you mean you're now in your pill free week and waiting for your period to arrive? If so, then if you're taking your pill correctly - same time every day etc then chances are slim. You should still be using condoms too as a back up if not trying to get pregnant. During your period is also not your most fertile time, so that lessens chances again.
im 18 years old and i have been on the pill for free years, the start of this year i have become very depressed and i have no postive towards anything i have mood swings and i cry, over nothing i lose my temper very quickly
i forgot to take it a month back for a few days and i was so happy? now its started over again but the reason im on the pill because of my periods and i have got told i shoudent come of as it could cause alot more hassle?

I wouldn't suggest an IUD because they can cause worst problems then the pill and they may not give it to you because you don't have any kids yet. I was looking into that instead of the pill before I got married she said I was a good candidate, but because I didn't have kids she wouldn't give it to me. I would do the pill option because it's easier to stop taken it if you have a reaction and there are more options then an IUD.
