Common Questions and Answers about Acute gastroenteritis in the philippines

gastroenteritis

Avatar m tn AIDS acute period will appear similar to the symptoms of acute gastroenteritis? Symptoms lasted for about four days, infusion improvement in 3 days. It is the acute phase of AIDS symptoms?
Avatar m tn Im very worried about this because im planning to work in Qatar soon. Im just waiting to finish my medical here in the Philippines. Im hoping for your urgent response. Thank you very much.
Avatar n tn Acute Gastroenteritis means "Your stomache hurt really bad, suddenly". You have WAY more serious issues than that! See a gastro doctor ASAP. Bile should NEVER, EVER leave your mouth. Get some keto strips (to pee on) at the pharmacy desk (about $6.00 for 50) and use them REGULARLY. Twice a day will do, until you are well. They indicate ketones in your urine that accumulate when you are dehydrated. BUY PEDIALYTE SINGLE PACKS in the baby section at a grocery store or Walmart type store.
Avatar f tn For a few months now I have noticed that I can feel a small lump in the left side of my abdomen, about 2 inches above my belly button and below my left ribcage. It is not painful, and I can palpate it, especially after I've eaten a large meal. When I eat it seems to pop out a little bit, and to me it just feels like a baby kicking, but it's in my upper left abdomen. The only health problems I have had are a history of hashimoto's thyroiditis.
Avatar f tn hello..if the status is acute then whats the best medication for it?thanks. i've done hepa profile test in san lazaro hospital unfortunately there is still no result its been two months now..whats your stage?
Avatar m tn you dont have those tests in the philippines you have to move to vietnam or china, unfortunately the philippines is full of hbv but the last in the world as healthcare for it
Avatar n tn But can find no source for it in the Philippines. Not in Cebu, not in Manila. I have a pharmacy in Canada that can provide it, but it has to be shipped in ice and can take 5 days to arrive. Fed Ex won't take it. Neither will UPS. Have to use Canada Post which "promises" 4 days. But if it gets stalled in customs, it will lose its potency. Can't find in Hong Kong or Singapore either. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
Avatar f tn If the pain is severe, of you have dizziness or blood in stools or the diarrhoea does not seem to get better in 4-5 days, it is advised to see a primary care physician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Hope this helps. Take care!
Avatar m tn wat kind of immunity boosters u had ???
Avatar m tn You should look at all the past threads in Tagalog and English, which I noticed are the two predominant languages in this forum. Many carriers in the Philippines are rejected for jobs both in the Philippines and especially the ones trying to go abroad to work in other countries. China also discriminates against its own population trying to get jobs. Some multinational companies who have set up shop (e.g. IBM) doesn't test for hbv. http://www.hc2d.co.uk/content.php?
Avatar m tn You now need to monitor your DNA and ALT closely (every 2 months) unless you start with the treatment. In any case you need a fibroscan now, this will give you an important clue as to where you stand at the moment. Are you hbeag positive or negative? How old are you? Male or female? Do you drink alcohol? What country are you from?
Avatar m tn Unfortunately my result was I was highly infectious, and needed medication first and I am temporarily unfit to work. What country are u from? Here in the Philippines they reject a person and make that person not fit to work because of the condition, some countries are more open minded and don't roughly discriminate a person with HBV. Sadly, this country is always late in updates and awareness.
Avatar m tn yes, and the doctor says it is acute...what can i do to make it non reactive?
Avatar m tn Pain in legs after protected sex shooting pain immediately, swollen sides of legs diarrhea, dry mouth Dr.
Avatar f tn Check your Anti-HBc IgM, if this is non reactive it means you are in chronic stage. If it is reactive, you are in acute stage. I suggest to do the test in Hi-Precision lab in the philippines, do a full hepa b profile test. They will give you quantitative results. Post it here in the forum so they can help you with the results.
Avatar m tn I am thinking it might be gastroenteritis (I have seen a doctor) but the fever has not subsided for 1.5 days now and I did not disclose that I had such massages to my doctor. Thank you for any help on this worrying matter.
Avatar f tn ve known that im positive in Hep B two years ago...can i be injected or is not necessary for me anymore?pls reply..
Avatar f tn Would anyone know a dysautonomia specialist in the Philippines or in Asia? I've been confined twice and have had 6 doctors ordering tests for me (cardio, neuro, endo, gastro, pulmo and obgyne) but no one can give me any conclusive diagnosis as to why I've been feeling extremely weak and out of breath with episodes of elevated BP and tachycardia for the last 3 months.
Avatar n tn My daughter is 14 months old and she has has watery diarrhea and vomitting. When she was born she was perfectly healthy, but once I had to return to work I began to give her formula and that's when she began to have these complications. She began to have watery diarrhea and vomit. I took her to the doctor and they said she had gastroenteritis, but it's been a while now and she is still the same? Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong? Thank you.
