In the beginning, I used insulin for almost 3 years. Then I realized I can control it with oral drugs, so I changed insuline to actoplus and metformin 15/850 twice a day. Now, my A1C has been keeping at range 5.8-6.2 for the past 2 years. I read some paper about MODY a few days ago. Now I am worrying about if I have MODY. I am 29 now. I am the only one with diabetes in my family history. I am overweighted and my BMI is 2.75. Both actoplus and metformin work very well for me.
im not into drugs or pills, but my girlfriend was a big user when i met her. shes not anymore, she only does saboxone now, as far as i know, but anyway, she got me into pills, i dont want to be. Then we recently discovered saboxone, and we've been on it for 1 year now. and we only been on that alone, and i would like to know what the side effects are, short term and long term?
HI welcome to the world of methadone they dont tell you about im sorry hun about all you can do is get off the stuff to get rid of the side effects I was on it for 6 1/2 yr and lived in a sexless marriage it s u c ked I know of nothing that can fix your problem other then getting off the stuff if you need help with that I can help good luck and God bless........
As lagoya mentioned, you may or may not experience side effects. If so, they range from annoying side effects to serious side effects. If it's helpful, when I took flecainide, I had weird dreams, shakiness, tremors and gastointestinal problems. It wasn't horrible, but it was bothersome enough that the doctor switched me to rhythmol.

would this statement not really get you thinking.I never had any serious deseases but thought that the hep c would kill me. how irronic. those serious side effects are all that occur in our bodies, for some of us. I never experienced any thing like this before on the treatment.

All can say is anything is possible with these harsh drugs. I have heard so many odd things from all the HCV drugs. Different combinations of the drugs, etc? What I found out over the years is, although there are common symptoms with these treatment drugs there are many more that are just odd.
Of course this could also be a allergic reaction so consult with your doctor to be on the safe side.
I had many side effects. Headaches, severe heartburn accompanied with hiccups. Blisters and discoloration all over my tongue and back of my throat. By day 6 my feet and ankles were badly swollen and it was getting difficult to swallow. My doc said I was having a systemic reaction and to quit immediately. We are going to try Subutex now and I hope it works.
On all the info I found, the only side effect I had that was listed was headache.

I was on medication in and out as I develop side effects to the statin drugs. I was on Lipitor, then on Pravachol and lastly on Crestor. None of them had problems loweting the Choesterol levels, but muscle and joint pain even with Vit D and Co Q10 as prescribed my physician. However, I came off crestor yesterday as I started feeling Dizzy. I am normally a "healthy", active energetic person. Now my doc thinks we should try Zetia which is in a different family of drugs.
