I am losing my mind here. I am 57 and have been in menopause for about 4 years and am on hormones (Activella. which is perfect for me. ) So i think.
Some background....
From 12 when I first got my period to 33 I had perfect periods. No cramps. No excessive bleeding. Then one period my life changed. For the next 20 years I had life-altering cramps and hemorrage type bleeding. Anaprox alleviated the cramps and I lived on it.
I am 38 years old and married. I was perfectly normal and having high libido with no problems of erection. I have been using A-Z multivitamin tablets (either centrum or boots) along with one or two fish oil capsules for the last 3 years.
I had an ongoing hair fall since my teen ages, which sometimes slowed down, specifically when I was back home in Pakistan. When I was in the UK, the hair fall increased. It's in the family. It never completely stopped.
Until my ablation 7 months ago, I had an AVRT very closely related to WPW. Mine was Circus Motion Tachycardia and I had it nearly all of my life, and I'm now 60. In my case, it in no way affected my libido. AVRT like Wolff Parkinson White is an electrical condition, and should not affect libido. I would look atnthe medication used to control the tachycardia. They can and often do supress the libido. How deep of an investigation have you done on your condition?
I have now been taking 150mg of Wellbutrin XL for about three months, and have noticed no imprvement. If anything, my libido has diminished even more.
Since most people report a boost in sex drive with the Wellbutrin, I was wondering if I am just an atypical case, or if perhaps my dosage is not high enough to experience the improvement.

m really alarmed and how my libido has dropped so much during the past six months. I eat healthy and practice yoga 3-5 times a week, but the only time I think about sex is when my man lets me know how horny he is. He's been supportive and understanding, but he deserves to be sexually satisfied, and of course on some level things I've lost interest for non-medical reasons.
No, I think they may be too high because of the recent cystic acne and increased libido that I've been experiencing. An increased libido may sound like a blessing but it's not... I can't think about anything else and just keep falling further and further behind in my work. About six weeks ago I was prescribed 20mg of Fluoxetine (Prozac) daily for Chronic Depressive Disorder.
At first, it worked great. I had energy, I slept through the night and felt rested in the morning. I wasn't constantly depressed and had desire to do things. I even got my libido back. I still had minor depressive episodes, but they never lasted more than a day.
I love my wife but we have not had sex on years and neither of us really has a libido to speak of. We do enjoy cuddling and are very touchy throughout the day. However I have found that my libido is quite strong when I travel. Is this common? We don't really speak about these things, which I'm sure is part of the issue.

You state that your partner is the problem, not you. I don’t know what you mean by that. And you also state you’re having trouble becoming aroused and having orgasms. And you also mention something about pregnancy.
So what is it that you want? Are you trying to become pregnant? Is this getting in the way of sexual desire? Is your partner touching you in ways that turn you on? Do you have orgasms with yourself? Do you think about sex at times when you’re not with your partner?
I lost my libido for a long time but slowly it started coming back.
I think 'self esteem' had a lot to do with it on my part.
