He started me with acanya and then gave epiduo a try (acne became bad on my forehead). Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo. i did for another month and nothing happened. He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days.
I have suffered from acne for 10 years until i took accutane that cleared my acne(now 21 years old)...Over these years my acne got worse and now i m left with small scars like holes ang huge pores on cheeks,nose and forehead that make me look older.Some of my pores are scared and the overall texture of my skin is bad.Is there any effective treatment and which type of laser would be the best and less risky for my skin condition?

It all started with small pimples on my forehead which went away and then it proceeded with acne on my cheeks and jawline. The acne though is deep inside of my skin. Some pimples did hurt some pimples didn't. I also went to the dermatologist, and she gave me a specific antibiotic:
Vibramycin 100 mg : which made me worse.
When I say worse I mean it with the whole meaning of the word. My acne wouldn't go away one bit.
Need some advice... I'm 32 years old and I've been diagnosed with papulopustular Rosacea a year ago.. Nothing really helped (antibiotics, metro cream, noritate, elides..) until I tried soolantra cream which cleared my forehead, nose and cheeks and almost all of my chin.
I was taking orthotricyclen since 15 years and was told to switch to Diane 35 for better results because it seemed to be more of hormonal acne...
Now i have got loads of scars across my face and forehead.....how can i get rid of theses scars or at least reduce them to a large extent and look better as it has affected my confidence very much ........i cant face a crowd.....i always try to hide my self .........but actually am a very extrovert kinda person but because of this i have become very introvert kind of person , nor can i look at pretty girls nor do they look at my because of this UGLY face.........CAN U HELP ME???.........
I never had anything on my face but after using a few exfoliating pads, I think I did scarring of my face don't know but nothing seems to work and for the past 2 years I have been going crazy. Oh I also have them in my forehead and chin and they burn the same way.

I'm booked in for a fraxel laser treatment on my nose cheeks and forehead for large open pores and "ice pick" scarring (or is this the same thing)? Can anyone tell me of their own experiences with this or someone they know maybe??? Was it successful or a total waste of time, money and pain? There is so much info on the internet about this I just want to hear the opinions of some "real" people. I'm getting really nervous about it. Help!!!
The other day I noticed there were some small red spots coming up on on my forehead, one or 2 would hurt as they came to the surface of the skin but then not hurt and just stay red. I thought they might be a blackhead or pore that had been infected. So before i went to bed I washed my face with my nivea for men wash and applied some pan oxyl. Then afterwards I put some E45 moisturiser on and went to bed. I do usually exfoliate too but I'd already down this 3-4 times that week.
It worked a treat but 9months after I had finished treatment the acne returned. Over the years I have been on 3 treatments of Roacutane for about 18months each with the same result about 9 months later. At the age of 23 I went to a new dermatologist who suggested trialing a 4th treatment of Roacutane, I refused not knowing the permanent damage it might have on my body especially considered I'd like to have children one day and Roacutane causes birth deformities.
Are you seeing scars from the pimples or pimples? Typically acne scars will fade with time, but that depends on the severity and your skin. If you are having issues with acne, I recommend trying either Proactive or a product called Unblemish by Rodan and Fields- both you can locate by searching Google for them and order them online, I believe.
At first, I believed this bumps were hypertrophic acne scars. I thought this because the bumps appear exactly on the same location where I had pimples. The biggest bump I thought was related to a really big pimple I had on my nose 5 years ago. Now, I don't know if the bump was very big at first. I would think if it was big at first I would have noticed it and been conscious of it.

I have tiny blisters that form a line on my forehead. It looks like a scratch but when I look close theres like 5,6 little blisters. Its not very painful I just assumed it was just a scratch then went to bed thinking itd go away but it looked worse in the morning. I got the same lesion on my chin a few weeks ago and dismissed it thinking it was razor burn but now I'm worried...could this be shingles?
return to your dermatologist for further evaluation. this isn't herpes .
I had chicken pox when i was about 7-8 years old and now i am 20. people told me scar will fade away with time but they haven't. i have two scars on my forehead and it looks really wired. i have noticed that they have gotten darker. i really feel embarrassed when people ask me what are those and how i got them. please help me and tell me what should i do to get rid of them.

Hi, about 15 months ago i had a yeast infection on my penis. It left a couple scars so about 3 months ago i started putting mederma on them. I applied the mederma for about 5 weeks before i found out that your not supposed to do that which is when i stopped. The skin began splitting around the area where the mederma was applied (the tip of the penis and the skin directly below it).
I am now breaking out on my forehead (lots of smaller, red bumps) and now my lower acne (usually restricted to my chin is spreading more along my jawline). I have even stopped picking at my acne (used to be a bad habit) and am super cautious about my hair and hands touch my face. I even work out a lot more too-cardio and weights. In the past I've tried proactiv and prescription creams and they have not worked.
Sorry grace, but that was my whole reason for asking b/c it looks nothing like the acne he has on his face at all! A nurse stated that it may be a spider bite which is possible as well. I will just take him to the doctor, but thanks for trying...
If you research you will find out that herpes will come in the form of an "acne '' like blister, and rashes as well.
