At first, I believed this bumps were hypertrophic acne scars. I thought this because the bumps appear exactly on the same location where I had pimples. The biggest bump I thought was related to a really big pimple I had on my nose 5 years ago. Now, I don't know if the bump was very big at first. I would think if it was big at first I would have noticed it and been conscious of it.
Yeah, try Conchar Nacar. It's a latin mask made from oyter shell. Great stuff. Use it like 2x a week. It will also help impurities on your skin. Make sure that you mix it before applying. It's a weird texture and looks like oatmeal when you put it on. But I have always used for a mask.

But now, everything turned upside down, I had breakouts that almost covered my entire face by acne in just 3 months!
i have acne and i managed to clear my face last week and there are just postinflammatory hyperpigmentation marks left where the acne was (reddish brown scars). i also have mild ice pick scarring and enlarged pores. i use acnecide 5% benzoyl peroxide gel every night for acne and yesterday night, i put on acnecide all over my fave and then put ambi fade cream with 2% hydroquione on top of it on my spots. i then put on aloe vera gel from holland and barretts as moisturiser.

Does anyone know about the scarring after-effects of accutane? I've read several reports of scarring left after it's use. I have mild, maybe slightly moderate acne. I get keloids on other parts of my body, but thankfully not my face. I still get abnormal facial scarring though.

For the scars of acne, treatments with acids and chemical peels can be effective but can take a while for the skin to totally revert to its normal color. Microdermabrasion can also be done, but this might require several sessions. Skin resurfacing using lasers is also an option.
