Avatar f tn Just wondering if I can use clean and clear acne control kit while pregnant?? Skin looks horrible bumps all down my neck ,my chest and back oatmeal soup isn't working ?
Avatar f tn I dont wear make up at all except for mascara. Foundation doesn't help at all lol my face also gets so oily its horrible so I got the facial scrub and apply it twice a day it works really well . Ugh the joys of pregnancy. !
5931867 tn?1397526593 My face is like a map! Lol. I bought a new foundation and I hope it covers most of my acne but anyways has anyone experience breaking out so much early in pregnancy. I have oily skin but I never broke out so much like maybe a pimple here and there but now I have a lot of tiny bumps(mostly on forehead), dark spots all around but mostly in cheek area. If anybody had bad acne during pregnancy what facial cleaner you used that cleared up your skin.
Avatar f tn Neutrogena Acne Stress Control. its a white & light mint bottle. Works amazing!!
9840853 tn?1407207261 Its probably not helping your skin. Try stoping by sephora and picking up the anti acne liquid foundation and the anti acne primer. ( i personally have oil skin and acne issue pre-pregnancy and this stuff worked wonders for me.) Even tge regular foundation with the primer. I also use a face kit call beauty control by skin logistics. Non sented, and a little bit goes a long way !!
Avatar f tn Just wash your face 2x a day, w acne wash. Use a body acne wash. Use an acne pad 2x a day. Use acne cream under your moisturizer. Also use concealer before you put on your foundation make up. Other than that just let it run its course, and try not to let it bother you.
Avatar f tn The rash started with 2 bumps on the left side of my face and started spreading down. It looks as if I have cystic acne but I’m sure it’s not acne, I never had acne in my teen years. And this sort of developed after going to Sephora and letting a makeup artist try on a foundation on my face. I had never had this type of issue though? Could it had been the make up I tryed on ? I feel as if it’s getting pretty bad, even my lymph nodes are swollen on the left side under my ear/ neck.
Avatar f tn t have foundation on I look awful, it makes me look like a have awful bags too because the skin below my eyes is paler. I hate taking my make up off and seeing my skin its just depressing. Im going on a girls holiday in july, and to be honest I would really love to get it under control before I go. Has anyone got any tips on how I can control my redness using herbal remedies or creams or anything!?
Avatar f tn Hello, I have a lot of acne and my friends tell me birth control is going to help me with my acne. But I am not sure at 100%. Have you ever try it? Did it work? Tell me ladies please .

Avatar f tn Before I got pregnant, I had smooth skin. Now I'm getting acne and my face is SO dry, and it never used to be. I can't even wear foundation cause it looks gross with my skin so dry. Have any of you ladies used any moisturizer or acne wash that has helped during your pregnancy?
559187 tn?1330782856 I found out from the MS nurse that the rash I have all over my face, neck, and back is a side effect of my IV Solu-Medrol treatment and the taper dose of prednisone and is not a rash at all, but is acne. I thought the rash was from my sun exposure while in Mexico earlier this week and that the steroids were probably the culprit. So that was half right. But the nurse said it was acne yet it feels more like a rash to me.
Avatar f tn Your doctor can prescribe you an anti-androgen contraceptive pill such as Yasmin or Dianette (Diane35 in the USA) which will provide birth control and clear up acne. Oral antibiotics may also be helpful but use a condom if you take tetracycline antibiotics and the pill concurrently as there's a risk that tetracyclines may lessen the contraceptive properties of the pill. Useful prescription topical lotions for acne include Duac gel, Differin and Dalacin-T.
Avatar f tn i'm 18 weeks pregnant and i'd say for the past month month and a half i've had acne like a teenage girl going through puberty all over again. i never had problems with this when i was younger, why now? and any suggestions on how to help it?
Avatar f tn I might put foundation on but only because I've been cursed with bad acne since my first son (he's 13 now). I hate all the blotches, blemishes and bumps. I cover them. I don't wear full on makeup on a daily basis, but I do wear foundation out of the house. Now. If I went into labor and the contractions were unbearable, yeah forget it who cares. If I had time, yes.
Avatar f tn Okay so my entire life I have never really had an acne problem (I am 19). I would get maybe 2 or 3 pimples around the time of my period and thats it however I have always had a pretty bad blackhead problem. Anyway lately I have been breaking out uncontrollably. I have a couple little zits on my chin, one or two on my nose and then a lot on my cheeks and around the area between my eyebrows.
Avatar f tn I am 16 weeks and have been having the worst acne all over my face and chest. It is becoming a problem. My face is very greasy I have to wash it 5 times a day. Even that isnt enough. I hate using the grease fighting acne face scrubs because of all the chemicals. Is there a better solution to this? Maybe a natural scrub/cream?! Also does it get any better or worse the more pregnant I get?
Avatar n tn I am wondering what is a good type of birth control to take for acne and that will regulate my period, but won't effect my hormones too much? I have tried mulitple birth control such as ortho-tricyclen and multiple others that I can't remember the names to. They each helped with my acne and to regulate my period significantly but I didn't like taking them.
Avatar f tn Hi, my daughter was put on birth control to regulate her periods and for her acne, which was really bad. She was 17 at the time. She was put on the regular pill that everyone starts off with I believe, ortho something or other. Worked great on regulating her periods AND her acne. The nausea started shortly thereafter and the vomiting....................
Avatar f tn I was on a triphasic pill for years (Tri Sprintec). It was good for keeping acne under control (which is why I originally went on it at age 20). But in the last few years I began suffering from extreme fatigue, lots of water retention, vaginal dryness, etc, and as all my tests were normal my PCP suggested the pill was causing it. I went off the pill completely 4 months ago and about 2 months after started experiencing extremely oily skin and massive hair shedding, among other things.
Avatar f tn As far as make up I also use the Clinique make up foundation from their acne line. It has been working wonders for me.
Avatar f tn I have had persistent but fairly mild acne since I was 18 (almost 11 years now). Last year I gave in and went onto accutane for 8 months which transformed my skin from oily with constant but mild cystic acne (usually on my chin) to zero spots and just a slight oiliness. However, since lockdown I’ve noticed my skin has changed again on my chin. The pores on my chin and sometimes a few around my nose are constantly clogged and bumpy.
Avatar f tn I am planning to get rid of this IUD. Please help me if any one else having this kind of issues. Any other suggations for birth control.
