It (the mass) started at the bottom of my breast and eventually grew and went under my areola. In the middle of the night my daughter swung her hand and hit my breast. It started to fill with puss over the next day or two. Because the puss was kind of all over, I was put under anesthesia to have a small surgery incision and drainage. He made an incision on the side/edge of my areola. After it closed up and healed you couldn't see the scar, it totally blended in.
I know it may sound really strange but I am in so much pain from recurrent abscesses. The abscesses are usually on my leg or in my arm pit and under my breast. I had one in my rectum area too. I had been to the doctors so many times and put on dicloxicillin which seemed to help at the time, yet they still kept on recurring. i don't know what to do.......
She scrubbed and drained the abscess on my breast and gave me antibiotics and cream for it. She looked at my other wound (area where pubic hair are) and asked me if I recently took any medicines because she feels it has something to do with my body reacting to some medicine because my wound turned black) Anyway,I took the medicine for 18 days. The abscess flattened and there's no visible pus but it's still a reddish lump.
Last week I felt a small lump on my bra line under my left breast. It looked like mosquito bite, had no pain or nothing, one week later it became red,hot,tender when I touch it, it got a small head like it’s going to pop out! a few days ago i noticed a place on my right butt cheek in the middle closer to my hip then the middle of my cheek that goes around to my groin area on my leg there are a few nodules......my doctor measured it it is 26 inches long just unfer the skin few nodules ...it doesnt hurt unless it is touched ...im not running a fever....my doctor has no clue she said she has never ran across anything like it ...is there anyone who might have any clue?
Four days ago I started juicing and changed my diet. I felt my breast sting while drinking these juices and think it could be stimulating my breast like when I used to drink coffee or it could just be reacting to the citric acid. Either way, on the second day, an abscess came open. I'm getting really dark red spots and the Dr said it is the pus coming to the surface. If I wasn't pregnant I would do a juice fast for a few days to cleanse my system.
I have an incision with stitches still can I still put on clay on the areas that are red and well I definitely have a big lump on one side and I see that as of yesterday another one is coming out under my breast. I'm really glad I found this site, I don't feel so alone anymore.

My first one was in my right breast, directly under my nipple, had 3 surgeries on that one before it went away, then a few months later one developed in my left breast, I've had 2 surgeries on that one. It went away just a couple of weeks ago and now I have another one starting in my right breast again. My GP recommended a week of antibiotics (Augmentin) and it started to drain on its own two days back. I feel a thickened area which hasn't gone down. Should I be worried? My husband has a lump in his left breast tip(nipple area). There's pain when pressed too.. It's been a month now.. The lump is not growing but remains in the same size. what is the real reason? Is it serious?
Had one surgery then and no more issues for that breast. However my last my other breast no so lucky. It has been three years and no relief....just got back from Dr. And he did say we could try surgery but from past experiences it caused more issues for me. Do you think know a wound care specialists might be an option.

Hi I'm a 35 year old female. Recently I've noticed I have a soft rather large lump on my areola. It is tender to the touch and it has changed the shaped of the areola. I had GMfor 9 months and I have been abscess free for 9 months. My GM breast is smaller. The lumps are gone. The breast does feel lumpy in some areas, but doctors say it's probably scar tissue. Plus, because it's smaller I think you feel more. I noticed on the forum many women saying they healed naturally or they just let it run it's course, so I decided to do the same.
