Avatar f tn If the other clinical history which is not given in the query is of a maligancy it amy indicate secondaries in liver. Other wise it can be anything from an abscess to neoplasm. Possible choices for further assement include, Follow up or Histopathology. Clinical correlation and consultation with ur physican will help as will other finding in the report.
Avatar m tn Other possibilities could be cholecystitis (inflammation of gall bladder), stones in gall bladder, abscess under the diaphragm (often missed by ultrasounds), liver problems or due to duodenal ulcer. If pain is slightly on the lower side then inflammatory bowel conditions, colitis etc should be ruled out. It can also be food intolerance, so log in what you eat and symptoms as they come and see if there is a correlation. If you had any surgery in past, then it can even be adhesions.
Avatar f tn I'm terrified of proteinurea meaning advanced stomach cancer, but of course I haven't had it checked out yet. I'm going to see a GI specialist next Monday (I finally have insurance as of last year), but I'm calling every day to see if he has an earlier opening. I'm terrified of what he's going to say, and even more terrified that he might brush my symptoms off. What if I've ignored the symptoms of stomach cancer and am now at stage IV or something?
2030686 tn?1351692148 I have really bad teeth some are so broken that there's less than half a tooth left. Right now I have an abscess and I'm gonna go get some antibiotics, but I'm wondering if I should find a way to get them pulled before tx. If I get them all pulled I have nothing left to eat with so I would have to get something to replace them. I can't afford to do any of this. We have some money saved in case my husband has to take too many days off work for my tx but I really think we're gonna need it.
Avatar f tn Hi, in one of above posts, you mentioned: QUOTE: "...SECOND it start after i have ....a swell on my sphencter on the left side of my anus after aweek it burst and it had a yellow fluid with blood " This was abscess - a collection of pus, which occurs either in chronoc infection or in inflammation of large bowel. You need: 1. Stool culture test - to find microbes and possibly 2. Colonoscopy which can show, what actually is with your colon.

Avatar n tn My sphincter was clammed shut and was not opening when it was supposed to, causing a backup of bile into the liver. That resulted in elevated liver enzymes on a blood test. The times that this happened were extremely painful if not debilitating. It also took me almost 5 years to get a proper diagnoses.
5248641 tn?1367590847 I did wonder how it would affect my liver, though, as my liver has suffered during my illness, probably from Babesia. Sometimes I wish I had at least tried it. Even people who aren't sick say it makes them feel better. I don't think that doing them occasionally (every few days at most) can't hurt. I did read about a woman who became seriously addicted to them and died after doing about a dozen of them in one day. So don't go overboard.

Avatar m tn MMS has nothing to do with liver, liver can be regenerated by gcmaf and heptech and both have human trials to prove that and quite fast, MMS has nothing but even having some proof that s useless we already have the cures for that
Avatar m tn Dermatologic symptoms include dermatitis, alopecia, and achromotrichia (absence or loss of pigment in the hair. Perosis (a shortening and thickening of bones) is seen in the skeleton. FLKS (fatty liver and kidney syndrome) and hepatic steatosis also can occur.” H-pylori: “It causes a chronic low-level inflammation of the stomach lining and is strongly linked to the development of duodenal and gastric ulcers and stomach cancer.” However this is just the reading of the report.
Avatar f tn you are forgetting though that bleach goes through the skin and into the liver where it HIGHLY oxidative....meaning bad news to livers...sometimes we need to think health before beauty maybe??
Avatar m tn 6 or 98.7 are normal) then you probably don't have a liver abscess. I would discuss with your doctor about your loss of appetite and corresponding weight loss. I am sure they are related to the parasitic infection but they may be able to give you something for it. Didn't you already take Metronidazole or what med did you take. I can't find it with all these messages. Did the doctor give you that one or did you buy it over the internet or pharmacy on your own?
Avatar n tn Since your liver enzymes are raised, possibility of liver infection is there. An abscess in the liver at the site of surgery could also be the case. This is often missed if not searching for it carefully. Hope this helps. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar f tn I did a necropsy at Cornell Hospital Pathology Dept. They found that they think she had liver adenoma/ cholangiocarcinoma as well as acute myeloid leukemia. In spite of the fact that she had an end stage liver cancer, it seems, nothing to that effect showed up in her blood work until 4 days after the Convenia shot. At that point her AST was elevated but not tremendously and they thought she had an infection.
649848 tn?1534637300 AnnieBrooke, I did see your comments last week about checking Craig's List. I kept meaning to go back and respond and didn't ever get it done, so I'll do that here. We did do that; unfortunately, there was nothing there. We even went to a couple of Habitat for Humanity stores and I also put an ad on another neighborhood forum I frequent and had no luck there either. Of course, if I hadn't been looking for cabinets, I'd have found a ton of them.
Avatar n tn make sure when you purchase Vitamin A that it is from fish liver oil... and only fish liver oil... Anything else may cause a reaction with the infection. these will detox your system and make your immune system become more efficient. If anything the antibiotics are not reacting anymore cause the virus has learned to cope with them... Anti biotics are good temporary fixes... If you are use to taking them, the virus will only come back worse.

Avatar n tn For me, I have had other problems. I have had abscess, fistula's, chronic stomach pains, headaches all day long, and joint pains. I have always believed that my life would be in the pits and I think about while laying in bed at night that the next day there will be something else. I know I don't have a mental dissorder, yet, I do have health issues that is not something I, myself, can fix on my own. I have to let it ride its course out.
Avatar n tn It could also be a folliculitis or an abscess. An infected cyst is also a possibility. All these would give you a headache due to inflammation. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar f tn It might just be benign meaning normal to my body. Anyway-just really relieved I talked to my Derm (who is basically my primary physician now as I've known him for years) about the eye. He told me about this really excellent Ophthamologist, which is so much easier than trying to see a Neurologist and Neuro-Ophthamologist. And he probably wouldn't require an MRI being done. The other two most likely would.
Avatar f tn My dad is in ICU right now with sepsis. He had liver stones, (they are like gallstones but in a different place) which were removed in an operation but they also found lots of puss, hence the sepsis. Right now he can't wake up, is on a breathing tube and is having heart palpitations. This is the second time he has had sepsis and I am afraid that he may not make it through this time. Your letters have given me a small amount of hope, thankyou.
Avatar n tn boils are often caused by infected hair folicals. Bacteria from infection form an abscess or pocket of pus. The abscess can become larger than a ping pong ball. Boils occur in areas where there is hair chafting. the face, neck, armpit, breast, groin, and buttocks are common sites.....then it goes on to treatment with cloth. doesn't mention any serious outcomes like surgery.
Avatar m tn One of the causes of maxillary sinusitis is a tooth abscess that has leaked the infection into the maxillary sinus. The teeth may be X-rayed to find this. • Ethmoid sinuses. If infection occurs, you may get puffy eyes and pain between them. The sides of your nose may get tender to the touch, your nose may get stuffy, and you won’t be able to smell so well. You may also get a splitting headache, felt most intensely in the forehead. • Sphenoid sinuses.
Avatar n tn There's no pattern in what I've eaten to create the problem, the doctors seemed to think it was due to severe constipation, (as well as a stomach ulcer) meaning the stomach isn't ready to take more food in and digest it because it's still full!! The pain usually goes between 30 minutes to 5 hours after it starts, when it's finished I feel like my stomach is bruised inside, it hurts to roll over onto my side, stretch, stand up or even hiccup!!
Avatar n tn So I saw my GP and he thought it sounded like I was describing an anxiety disorder (because I often have panic attacks which I have since attributed to copious amounts of caffeine) and has prescribed me to 40MG of Citalopram which seems to be doing something I'm not sure what other than making me insane. I am a heavy drinker but my liver/kidney tests came back all bueno minus slightly a elevated RBC which I'm assuming is due to the fact that I'm a heavy smoker.
