ve had abscess near my ear for over few months now it keeps getting infections in it where puss keeps coming out it as made me unwell for few months now I've been to A&E now twice once to have it drained and other time as was very unwell they just keep giving antibiotics which I've had 4 lots of now I did manage to get appointment with a ENT surgeon but he told me this abscess is not going to go away till I have surgery but then said I wouldn't be able to have surgery for 6 month
I don't know why bacterial vaginosis keeps coming back. I've had it since I was a teenager i.e before I was sexually active and it appears very often (mostly after my period has finished). I maintain good hygiene,wear cotton underwear and don't change partners but it just reappears all the time. I would be very thankful if you share some advice and I also want to ask if using antibacterial wet wipes might have been the problem this time.
I went to the Dentist last month, and got a dental abscess removed. The dentist she did the pocket test, and send it was fine for now and I don't need to see a periodontist. I had a scale clean as opposed to a regular clean, I'm not sure if she did root planning though. The problem is blood keeps happening in these areas and gets worse especially if I go 3-days without brushing my teeth for example it builds up the blood and just seems to ooze out.
These kind of infected lumps are usually treated with antibiotics.But if it keeps coming back,surgical removal of the infected area may be necessary.
I don't think you should be worrying too much,because it doesn't sound at all like a breast cancer symptom,but you should see your doctor ASAP so that this painful lump can be adequately treated.

My back top left molar keeps chipping/breaking off. I was chewing some gum before and a piece of it fell off. I had a root canal on that tooth too. What should I do if it gets bigger, the chipping. I have no dental insurance and I can't really pay to have it fixed or pulled out. I am on a fixed income, so it would be hard for me to pay for dental insurance. I don't have a drivers license either.
If your abscess is coming back in the same place, it is likely that the root is still there. The root of the abscess must be removed for it to stop festering and coming back.
Your doctor will be able to prescribe an antibiotic to kill the infection and possibly drain the abscess and get the root out. You could also get a drawing ointment, but this can only be used on unbroken skin.

I would recommend visiting your doctor for examination, and remind the doctor that this is a recurring abscess. Only your doctor will be able to exam the abscess and obtain a culture to treat the abscess and, hopefully, prevent it from recurring.

Recurrent tonsillitis is an indication for tonsillectomy, as the tonsils may harbor the infection which keeps flaring up, or they may develop new infections. Quinsy, is peritonsillar abscess, that is there is pus collection around the tonsils. This is an emergency and needs to be treated with IV antibiotics. Sometimes it warrants incision and drainage of the abscess. It is also an indication for tonsillectomy. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.
A little over a month ago I was diagnosed with mastitis. My youngest is 4 so I'm not breastfeeding. I was diagnosed with recurrent subareolar breast abscess in 1988, I have had 10 surgeries duct and tissue have been removed and tribes but into drain..this foe seven years I had no issues and then if was back again in the other breast. Had one surgery then and no more issues for that breast. However my last my other breast no so lucky. It has been three years and no relief....just got back from Dr. And he did say we could try surgery but from past experiences it caused more issues for me.
