First some back story: Cat had an abscess, took it to the vet. The abscess drained, went back to the vet, gave us some antibiotics. After abscess drained, the cat irritated it a bit, a flap of skin came off revealing tissue, and bone on the right of the jaw/mouth. We went back to the vet, said she couldn't bandage it since it's literally on the mouth, and therefore couldn't eat. Also can't stitch since there's no skin to stitch together.
Over the past couple days I developed an extremely painful abscess. In an attempt to clean my mouth using coconut oil the abscess burst. I believe I didn't swallow any of the liquid leaking out and throughly rinsed my mouth with salt water and then some hydrogen peroxide. I will be receiving insurance in about 2 weeks from my new job so I am hoping I can hold off going to the dentist till then.
About every other day, I have severe pressure in roof of mouth, and sometimes it moves to my teeth, and even into my sinus affecting my breathing. I had a CT scan which showed I still have a slight sinus infection, but I've been on countless antibiotics, and the pain has not gone away. Recently went to another ENT who did endoscopic exam, and was able to get into my right maxillary sinus (where infection was), and confirmed that it all looked good.
When i started flossing one day in the back of my left top side of my mouth this horrible taste in my mouth kept coming up. I smelled the dental floss and I nearly threw up. I feel sick to my stomach. Iv'e tried brushing more on that side and using mouth wash but that taste wont go away. I don't even want to eat because it is so bad.
Hello I have a flat white sore in my mouth on the bottom of my gum in between one of my back teeth and cheek. It is pretty painful and I accidentally made it bleed why looking at it. It looks like it might have spread closer to my tooth but I cannot tell because the "new" part isn't painful at all. It isn't a canker sore or anything, so I'm not sure what it could be really.
I went to my regular dentist on 1/13/06 and xrays showed a large abscess in tooth #10, as well as a smaller abscess in tooth #20. On 1/17/06 I had a RCT done on tooth #10, as well as an incision in the roof of my mouth behind that tooth to help extract the infection. On 1/19/06, I had a RCT done on tooth #20, with one 0.05mm post placed. I have been on Antibiotics since 1/13/06, taking Penicillin VK 500mg QID, so I'm now on my Eighth day of antibiotics.
Im 36 weeks, and randomly a couple bumps popped up on the right side in the back of my mouth. They dont hurt or anything. Theyre just annoying. Anybody know what it is?
He is now taking amoxacilin for 7 days and is getting a r.c in a week. But they may extract it. they need him to come back in for a check up in a couple days. i guess because the tooth is crack under the crown and it may not be repairable. so we will see next week. wereally hope they can do a r.c instead of pulling the tooth. A mucocoele is caused by blocked salivary glands and appears clear or as a blue tinged growth. Tooth abscess can cause painful bump on the roof of mouth. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. See a doctor and get it examined.I will recommend you to see an oral surgeon for a confirmation of the diagnosis. Do keep me posted.

I have been seeing my dentist for a long time, and I trust his opinion. This problem is not just cavities. I also get this nasty puss taste in my mouth, and I have this lump on the roof of my mouth that feels like it swells up sometimes. It is off to the right of my hard palate above the gum line. It looks red and swollen. It is in the same general area of the two upper teeth that I need crowned. I have had those teeth X-rayed, and there was no abscess.
I get a gross taste when I yawn almost feels like pus draining throught my 2nd to last upper molar on the right side of my mouth. I have had all my teeth checked by a dentist and no abscess has been found, or anything else that would explain the drainage. I have been seeing a lot of doctors recently, none of which seem to help me out with anything. I get some dizziness, and pressure in the ears sometimes as well. I also have what feels like swelling on my hard palate.

At the end of December I had exploratory surgery done. I had pain in my mouth for over a year. Xrays never showed anything, it didn't hurt when I chewed at all. Just throbbing pain at different times. A CT Scan show a hole up by my jaw bone. When the did the surgery they found an abscess (cavity). I had them pull the molar, and they cleaned out the abscess. It is now March and my gum is still sore. Is this normal? I did have quite a few stitches in my mouth.
Since then, I got home and have had a nasty taste in mouth + lips and mouth numbness tingling.. I have chills and hot flashes (wondering if the toxins are trying to flush out of body).. But I'm very curious if this abscess doesn't get better, and gets larger before Monday, if it can cause damage to nerves, my ear, or throat??? If you have an helpful hints please fire back any suggestions or input on my crazy case..
