A yeast infection may present with abnormal vaginal discharge, pain with intercourse or urination, redness and swelling of the vulva, or vaginal and labial itching and burning. 1. Sometimes has skin/smegma build up in the vulva area, that I struggle to clean with a wet wipe (unusual since she rinses it daily)

I’m not put off by the discharge, I appreciate it’s role in her health. While I’m comfortable with intercourse and using fingers, it’s not my preference to put my tongue in the discharge nor use my fingers for anything else without a clean.

Hi, so I have this bump on my vulva area that keeps concerning me. I have had it checked out twice. Once I was told it was a “scratch” another time I was told “it is nothing to worry about, if you had hair down there you wouldn’t notice it”. I haven’t had an abnormal Pap smear, my last one was about a year ago. It foes occasional get an itch sensation.
Pain during sex can be caused by a few things i had the same pain a few months back firstly i recomend getting tested for sti or even bv and she can ask for the gp to examine the curvicx and vulva i had the pain due to urine infection but if pain only happens at cirtain times in her cycle than take into consideration that womans curvix changes position during her cycle so when the curvix is low and easy to reach intercorse could cause pain it could be normal if its not all the time and only occ
For 10 months I have had a hot red rash in the groin, on the vulva and through the perineum. It doesn't go away even if I use hypoallergenic toilet paper, soap and washing powder. It is improved by using Elocon 1% but even that isn't all that successful.
At the moment, I have white pin heads of pus around the vaginal entrance and inside the labia.
There has never been any abnormal discharge. I am 56 years old and take Xyvion, but the medication is not the cause.

I'm sorry your gyn isn't being terribly helpful. I am a firm believer that squeaky wheel gets the oil so keep asking and pushing for help. A dermatologist may be able to help you as well.
My inner labia were amputated, i attempted reconstruction surgery by skin grafting. Iam left feeling abnormal and completely devastated. I feel i cannot have a sexual relationship or even think a guy would want to be with me after whats happend to me.. any advice or support would be helpful...
I found that i have an odour problem, especially during the sex process, the abnormal smell was stronger...this is very embarresing..anybody can help me please??

i have gone to a doctor and was told that it was normal, just something about glands but I doubt that. i don't think it is thrush, though, because I have no other problems: no irritation, bad odor, or anything. I do get a seemingly abnormal AMOUNT of discharge, but it doesn't look or smell abnormal.
Hello, I had sex last week and after the sex a few days later I started to get a very red, itchy, burning feeling all around my vagina and vulva, there was a thick white discharge but not a ton of it, it was extremely uncomfortable.
I check myself down there quite often just to see if anything looks abnormal. Yesterday I spread my labia minora and next to my vulva (but on my labia minora) I noticed A very tiny little pink patch. I guess it doesn't look like a cut because it isn't red and it's circular but it's darker pink than the surrounding area.
I had very bad vaginal itching (am in menopause) and my doctor gave me steroid cream. She noted vulva dystrophy and vaginitis in my records and I thought she mentioned lichen p or lichen s, it's not in my records. The itching has subsided and I know this will be a chronic thing for me. I am scared because I read online that lichen p or lichen s increases your risk for vulvar cancer? Right now I do not have any sores or bumps, is that how vulvar cancer starts?

Hi, I had unprotected sex several months ago and have recently noticed that there were some abnormal bumps on my vulva. They are skin-colored, cluster in a group and cause a lot of pain and itching. My doctor said that these could be herpes and prescribed me an ointment but it seems to be not working. The bumps are getting worse and I feel like they are growing bigger day by day. What could it be?
A couple of months ago while shaving down below I noticed that I have this black Mark which is about under an inch in size on the inner vulva area. All surrounding skin is pink, this just looks very odd i have never noticed this before. It is not raised it is flat but it's a weird shape with jagged edges. Tests were repeated twice. Still negative. There is no redness or bumps or anything that my doctor can see that is abnormal. No abnormal discharge or smell.
I have been experiencing vulvar irritation and burning for over 6 months. I was given multiple cultures and tests and all came back negative. However, my papsmear came back "slightly abnormal" and I was told I have HPV. My Dr. has looked for lesions and warts multiple times but cannot find any. She seems to think the irritation has nothing to do with the HPV. Is it common to experience vulvar irritation with HPV infection but have no visible warts?
