abilify zoloft

There is no reason you can't take Abilify with Zoloft. I take Abilify with several other medications. It started working within 2 weeks and my depression decreased dramatically. One common side effect of Abilify is akathisia, a restless need to move. I have that but added propranolol and it stopped it completely with no other side effects.

I tried Abilify with my antidepressant. After a few months on Abilify, my anxiety was actually worse. I noticed that the Abilify caused me to be agitated and restless (like I couldn't get confortable or sit still, kind of jittery) Abilify is really ment more to aid in the treatment of depression than it is anxiety. It's designed to be used as an antidepressant add on drug to give a bit more antidepressant punch rather than an anti-anxiety punch. Bad idea I think.

I am on zoloft which does not help with my anxiety, does adding abilify help with the anxiety and the depression?

i was just wondering whether zoloft of abilify causes breast enlargement because they are so much bigger and i guess they are making me more and more anxious. Thank you!

After trying different meds, the combo that seemed to work best is 2 mg Abilify w/200 mg. Zoloft, in the morning, with 1 mg. xanax up to 4 times a day as needed. After about 10 months, he is groggy, has short term memory loss, sleeps a lot, and seems to be "out of it" a lot. Is it the Xanax? I am worried sick.

I just had abilify added to my Pristiq and Remeron.. I used to be on Zoloft 150mg but it just didn't seem to be working after 5 years of being on it. I was getting to the top dose of 200mg and that is why he added the Remeron. That was a magical combination however, anxiety was still bad and i couldn't cope with everyday activities still. So we switched to Pristiq-Remeron and I have had severe lows and break through in the moods with the Pristiq.

I have been on 200 mg of zoloft for five weeks and I am still not feeling 100%, has anyone had this problem

I tried to stop taking zoloft and abilify about three months ago. I tapered off the zoloft and stopped the abilify cold turkey, per doctor's advice. I had mild side effects for the first month and then totally crashed. Needless to say, I called my doctor in desperation and was represcribed both medications. I feel much better, but am still very serious about stopping the medications sooner than later.

Once she felt better, she got back on the Adderoll/Zoloft rollercoaster and off the Abilify and Serouquel. She is also bulemic and purges after every meal. She's been to the hospital 3x for extremely low potassium (sweats, palpitations, nasea and diziness). My question is how the Adderol and Zoloft interact with the Bipoar I condition and the bulemia. What should or could happen to someone who is taking Abilify 5mg 1X a day, Zoloft 50mg 1X a day, Gabapentin 200mg 3X a day.

I am on Wellbutrin XL, Ablify and Zoloft. I am still not doing better. Do you think they would put me on another Antidepressant also?

I take an AD along with Abilify. Within a week after Abilify was added I started to feel better. Right now I take 15 mg but I have taken as much as 30mg. I did get akathisia from it (restlessness ) but added propranolol which stopped it. Akathisia is a common side effect.

I take Zoloft and Abilify for bipolar disorder. My sugar levels were heightened due to Abilify, but I am now taking Metfforman to level out my sugar level because Abilify has the ability to heighten sugar levels. I am not a diabetic. Does cholesterol have anything to do with this cramping?

So my psych put me on Zoloft. The Zoloft made me really tired again all the time. So I stopped taking it. The Wellbutrin has lost it's effect to keep me awake and I'm crashing at 1pm. The Wellbutrin has mostly taken away my feelings of wanting to cry over nothing but I still have rough days. Someone will say something to me and if I was completely happy before and it upset me even a little I will be in a horrible depression for the rest of the day.

I had been taking Zoloft for about 3 years, and recently stopped it on my doctor's advice, as he suspects the Zoloft is what's giving me an inability to orgasm. I stopped 10 days ago and am still suffering! This is not a lake of desire problem, or a relationship issue. I also take Clonazepam and Abilify. I am glad your son is ok. I don't know anything about abilify but I take zoloft and I am taking klonopin( used to take ativan ) I think I am going to wean off klonopin...only been on for a couple days. How are you feeling?

They started me on zoloft, then prozac, then lexapro, then back to zoloft at a higher dosage. Then around 7 years ago I started getting panic attacks, so they put me on some benzos along with cymbalta and abilify. Cymbalta was the worst drug I'd ever been on; I felt like a walking zombie... not depressed, just not anything at all. I've been through three or four different talk therapists and a handful of psychiatrists.

Go up to 50mg in another week. Down to approx 1.5mg Abilify now. Feel HORRIBLE. Also on Zoloft 100mg. Having racing thoughts, anxiety, mood swings, bone pain and sweats. Most anti-depressants tend to "poop out" after a few years in about half of those that take them. This is in part due to the brain finding a work-around on the medication so other steps are taken to get the depression/anxiety back in check. This problem is commonly fixed by adding medications such as Abilify to the original anti-depressant. Personally, I would not add these type of meds to Paxil unless you have not had any weight gain issues during your time on in.

I have been on 200 mg Zoloft, 200 mg lamictal, wellbutrin and 3 mg Xanax daily for 3 years. before welbutrin I was on abilify and it worked very well but it was unaffordable so doc changed it to welbutrin , which I never thought worked. I started feeling down and anxious and asked the dr to change me back to abilify since I had new ins that will cover it . Instead she weaned me off the Zoloft in only 9 days with instructions to start pristiq 50 mg daily after the nine days.

5mg to help regulate my sleep, which sounded great to me since I do not remember the last time I had a good night sleep. He also put me on a low dose of abilify 2mg for a week then up it to 4 mg a day. I slept good last night, went right off to sleep and did not wake up, still woke up tired, shucks!! but the kittne woke me up so who knows what time i would have slept too...

I've been on 25mg prescribed Zoloft for about three weeks, and went up to 50mg a few days ago. I was due to up my dose to 75mg today but I think I am experiencing hypomania. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night despite having exercised the day before, going to bed at normal time and with normal routine prior, and laying in bed for hours trying desperately to sleep - but I just couldn't.
