Has anyone else ever had to do a 24 hour urine collection test? Im 13 weeks pregnant with my 4th child and ive never had to do this test before its got me kinda stressed.

The urine, no. Blood test is for PT-PTT, your ability to clot. If you are way,way slow on clotting they will choose a method besides needle biopsy or delay it.

I am sorry to hear that you are going through this.. doing a 24 hour urine specimen is for what they consider diabetics.. Although you may not be diabetic, they want to do a 24 hr .urine protein level because high bp can also cause diabetes... If you have protein in your urine, that mean's you are possibly diabetic.. I know this because my husband is, and he has to do 24 hr urine's all the time...

AM ccrtisol has been between 1 and 5, below range low of 6.7. although cortisol stimulated to 13.7. Dr ordered 24 hour urine for catecholamines in July and December. both times epinephrine NE <5 &<6 below clinical reportable range. I had 2 miscarriages and my 3rd pregnancy my little boy had iugr. I also had preeclampsia in the 35th week which the doctor ordered a 24 hour urine sample. It didn't go well so they induced me the following day. I wondering did you also get preeclampsia and did they say your any of your babies had clubbed hands and feet.
