Avatar n tn I have eliminated it being dry skin of an allergy, ive changed my lotion soaps and detergents. I’ve taken Zyrtec daily and Benadryl. I’ve gone to 5 different doctors, had blood tests, EMG test and nobody can seem to help me. I’m in constant pain and really could use some advice.

Avatar n tn ) If your sinuses are clogged, I would recommend a relatively inexpensive product that you can purchase at Walgreens.... NeilMed sinus rinse. Good luck !

460830 tn?1347219306 ), but I never have had any problem with taking a normal dose of Zyrtec...if I go ahead and take a Zyrtec, and it turns out that I did already take one, would it do any harm?
Avatar m tn She has taken Benadryl ( 75 mg twice a day for a month ), then three Zyrtec a day for 3 to 4 weeks, now she is taking Claritin ( three a day ). No real relief. She took prednisone for two weeks while taking Zyrtec, and got complete relief. But, the scratching, biting started again as we were weaning her off the prednisone ( when she was down to one tab every other day ). The next drug we are considering is cyclosporine. I am seeking any one's experience with this treatment. Please advise.
Avatar f tn I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.
Avatar f tn So I've been told that this gender test from walgreens has been pretty accurate for some women & I really wanna know if anyone else has used it & it was correct??
218870 tn?1240255655 exactly. I was surprised to see it at walgreens, I guess. i would never put total faith into it, but I thought it would be fun. Wanted to talk to others who have used it. Once you put the word "scam" with something, it doesnt seem nearly as fun anymore. haha. thanks for saving me $30!
908150 tn?1243182960 I was curious to know if anyone out there has or is taking this new drug that Walgreens is using to replace the Armour? I was taking Armour 90mg 5 days a week and 60mg the other 2 days. In August my numbers were: TSH 0.51 (0.34-4.82) FT4 0.43 (0.6-1.6) FT3 2.45 (2.3-4.2) 2 months ago I up medication to 90mg ea day, also about that same time Walgreens switched Armour to this new generic natural thyroid drug. I just had tesst done: same ref range TSH - 0.04 FT4 - 1.03 FT3 - 3.
Avatar f tn i started taking zyrtec about 6 months ago for post nasal drip and watery eyes. i took it almost every day and felt much better. i figured i would stop and see if my allergies were better. bad idea. after 48 hour without zyrtec i start to itch everywhere. it starts between my fingers and wrists and feet and ankles and ends up everywhere. i take a pill and it goes away. i have tried to stop many times but the itching is just too bad.
Avatar n tn I was also advised to take Zyrtec and wondered if Zyrtec had any more benefit for skin reactions thank Claritin. Claritin didn't help at all. Two dermatologists suggested Zyrtec over Claritin . I hesitate to try the Zyrtec as I took it once a few years ago and promptly feel into a deep sleep. If it is better for the skin than Claritin can it be taken at night and do any good? Your help is greatly appreciated. This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.
Avatar m tn Both Allegra and Zyrtec are 24 hour medications in my area. I have known several people who took 3 Zyrtec in one day, and my allergist says that you can't really OD on antihistimines. You should be sure to drink PLENTY of water and watch for signs of constipation and dehydration. You should make sure that your dr is well aware of how much of these meds you are taking to make sure that they are ok with any other medications you maybe taking.
Avatar f tn t cause much drowziness though. Zyrtec is also more expensive, but the generics are good. Walgreens has a very good price for usually as well. The flonase is good, but it will take up to two weeks to reach full effectiveness. You might want to add a sinus rinse. I use the NeilMed sinus rinse bottle, but neti posts work ok too. I like the bottle because it has slightly more force to dislodge the crud that builds up in your sinuses.
Avatar f tn Has anyone experienced severe itching problems when they stop taking Zyrtec?
Avatar f tn Zyrtec and benadryl. Zyrtec doesn't work for me, and benadryl makes me so tired. So my Dr gave me flonase and said to take the benadryl at night.
Avatar n tn I am 20 weeks pregnant and am getting a sinus infection, I know Zyrtec D works but i dont know if im allowed to take it! Will it harm baby if I take Zyrtec D???
Avatar f tn My 12 year old daughter was just diagnosed today with this. I read the other posts relating thyroid problems with autoimmune urticaria. Since I have hypothyroidism, I'm guessing that she should be tested for this at her regular doctor's office? Right now all I can afford is the double dose of Zyrtec, but with everything else she's allergic to (7 types of trees, 3 molds, ragweed, cat, feathers, dust mites & roaches of course) the allergy shots would be better for her, right?
