Water and lemon is a great cleanser for the system. If your sisters mucus concerns continue to develop, it is prudent to check in with her doctor about this. Glad to hear your sister is otherwise been doing well.

Avatar n tn Hi, You could consult a skin specialist and try some local application steroid creams and moisturizers if anti-histamine medications cause side effects in your case. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema.
Avatar f tn “Tell your doctor if you regularly use other medicines that make you sleepy (such as other cold or allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression, or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by Zyrtec. This medication can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Avoid drinking alcohol.
Avatar n tn Head tremors could be also a side-effect, as it is consistent with the possible side effects presented with the use of Singulaire, however, not directly listed itself as one, but rather linked to one ( seizures, dizziness, headaches, etc). Great suggestion from lagoya on checing out the medication under "Health Topics" above.
