Avatar f tn “Tell your doctor if you regularly use other medicines that make you sleepy (such as other cold or allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression, or anxiety). They can add to sleepiness caused by Zyrtec. This medication can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Avoid drinking alcohol.
Avatar f tn now he is moves his eyes from side to side and clears his throat. Why is he doing this? Is it an anxiety disorder? At times he can be difficult, talks back, doesn't listen.. like many 8 year olds but I have to wonder now with the ticks that he has is it all related? I am not certain what to do or who to talk to about it.
Avatar f tn Try taking home remidies like plain water steam, twice a day, it gives awesome results for cold, cough and watery eyes. This is free from any side effects. I do this all the time.
Avatar n tn Both are mainly used in treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Headache and drowsiness are side effects seen with loratidine. Whereas headache and vomiting with fexofenadine. Both are quiet safe and any one can be used for which consult your local health care provider. Take care and regards.

Avatar m tn From that point forward the meds will proceed to work their way out of her system. Side effects from these meds seem to vary from person to person. Water and lemon is a great cleanser for the system. If your sisters mucus concerns continue to develop, it is prudent to check in with her doctor about this. Glad to hear your sister is otherwise been doing well.
503607 tn?1275671579 Don't even take it to this level Deb.....you said it all when you posted all of the side effects and if you are experiencing a dry mouth common sense would definately tell you that the rest of your body is dehyrated as well from the allergy meds...and we all know that dehydration is one of the causes of tossing off SVT runs. My dosage since the ablation of the antentolol has been .25 as well and it works for me..this does not mean that its gonna get progressive....
Avatar m tn t had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Avatar m tn During my actual sleep i will wake up gasping for air in a panic, as if my heart stopped when i was sleeping. i know that one of the side effects is anxiety but i am unsure if this is a separate or same issue. I am 19 years old. I do not do any type of drugs, or drink and I am physically active.
Avatar n tn Hi, You could consult a skin specialist and try some local application steroid creams and moisturizers if anti-histamine medications cause side effects in your case. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema.
Avatar n tn Head tremors could be also a side-effect, as it is consistent with the possible side effects presented with the use of Singulaire, however, not directly listed itself as one, but rather linked to one ( seizures, dizziness, headaches, etc). It should be reported to your prescribing Doctor immediately. Please offer more details such as reasons for taking it and other symptoms. There may be better options available. Take care.
Avatar f tn d a short term course of of an anti-anxiety med, like Xanax or Ativan, to help with the side effects. That may make a world of difference for you. Definitely don't just stop taking the Lexapro without first discussing all of this with your doctor. You both may decide that the side effects are just too much, or your starting dose may have been a little on the high side. A typical starting dose would be 10mg, for some people sensitive to meds, they can even start out at 5mg.
Avatar f tn Benzos like this can cause withdrawals when they are stopped suddenly. How often do you take it on an 'as needed' basis? Have you talked with your prescribing doctor about potential side effects? The good thing is you got checked out and you are ok medically. When I came off of certain benzos I had to come off of them very slowly to reduce side effects. Also, could you be under some more stress these past couple of months?
Avatar m tn I woke up this morning worried about side effects and felt like my heart was racing and going to beat out of my chest. I took 2 xanax (which I've been taking for years) and feel like I'm calming down, but I'm worried this racing heart is a side effect or if it's just my anxiety of taking the new medication. I want to get my life back but I think I'm afraid even this won't work. Would appreciate any advice or feedback.
Avatar f tn i am now very much worried as we desperately need this baby....i wanted to know that taking zyrtec can have any side effect on the fetus or its safe....please reply i am not getting sleep due to this tension.....
Avatar f tn Of late Iam having many side effects because of the prolonged usage of themedicine like restlessness,,slight giddiness anxiety and gabbraut. The medicine is only to supplement the shortage externally.Do you agree Homeopathy treatment will be advisable.Ihighly value your input.
Avatar m tn Hi there! Well, I've been on Effexor for over ten years. Started at a very low dose and I am at 150 mg for a long time now. So, I can't say if I remember all the side effects I had. But I will say that I definitely got sick to my stomach if I didn't eat immediately before taking it. This went away after a week or so as my body adjusted to the medication. I believe that the jitters and anxious feeling is all part of your anxiety.
