zyrtec

Avatar f tn I got stung by a wasp twice on Sunday (first on my forearm then the spot below my thumb) and as expected both site swelled up. Later saw a doctor and was prescribed Zyrtec (pills - 10mg), betamethasone (pills) and fluocinolone (cream). The last two contain steroids and I only took Zyrtec and the cream as I'm scared that steroids might break down my immune system. Both sites aren't swollen now but still a bit painful. A blister has formed on the first sting site.
Avatar n tn I was also advised to take Zyrtec and wondered if Zyrtec had any more benefit for skin reactions thank Claritin. Claritin didn't help at all. Two dermatologists suggested Zyrtec over Claritin . I hesitate to try the Zyrtec as I took it once a few years ago and promptly feel into a deep sleep. If it is better for the skin than Claritin can it be taken at night and do any good? Your help is greatly appreciated. This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn There really aren't very many specialists in the area of dysautonomia, I'm afraid. I was told P.O.T.S. could be hereditary and later learned I have a second cousin who has been diagnosed with the same thing. I've not had any official testing to determine the underlying cause of my autonomic dysfunction. I was diagnosed with P.O.T.S. back in 2004.
610738 tn?1263111556 We would need to be able to verify the calories burned on an official government site. Do you know where you saw the 400 calories for every 30 minutes? If you can find this information on a government site, we'd be happy to add it for you.
Avatar f tn Here I am again 8 months later. Started having anxiety attacks and was prescribed first Xanax then Ativan. Noticed when taking 3 times daily that the tingling and numbness all but disappeared. Then got on a web site that gave me many, many side effects of anxiety. Among 10 pages numbness and tingling were listed as side effects of anxiety attacks. Can't quite get everything right, but have noticed that if I drink more than one coffee or ice tea, I have breathing problems.
1710955 tn?1309446473 So the dx is official. I have relapse-remitting MS. Apart of me was hoping the LP came back normal so that there was still a slim chance that I didn't have MS, but that wasn't in the cards for me. I'm ok with the dx. I'm going to start with Copaxone in 4-6 weeks. The neuro is going to send me the LP results when the O band part comes back. Oh, and the blood patch is still in place and I'm still headache free! Yay!
Avatar f tn U can take sudafed.... Go the the web site www.colic.com....
1605619 tn?1301631851 I take prilosec every day and my doctor says its fine. I would get off the zyrtec D and start the 24 hour zyrtec liquigels. You only take it once a day. You don't need the decongestant in the zyrtec D. You may be stuffy for a few days until you ween yourself off the decongestant but you will be okay. If you have that much diarrhea try taking some iron pills. I take 324 mg b/c of low iron. It makes you go a couple of times a day and regulates you and your stool.
Avatar n tn has zyrtec been banned,i cant find it anywhere,if it has been banned then wot was the reason?
Avatar f tn i started taking zyrtec about 6 months ago for post nasal drip and watery eyes. i took it almost every day and felt much better. i figured i would stop and see if my allergies were better. bad idea. after 48 hour without zyrtec i start to itch everywhere. it starts between my fingers and wrists and feet and ankles and ends up everywhere. i take a pill and it goes away. i have tried to stop many times but the itching is just too bad.
Avatar f tn I have been having urinary problems the past 3 months. I took 5 different antibiotics for UTI's, i've had a transvaginal ultrasound, pelvic exam, and everything said I was fine. I have been feeling better, but every now and then, I have this tingling feeling in my groin area, and it is very uncomfortable and will last for days, then go away.
129311 tn?1266346822 Hello, i have had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now, accompanied by burning eyes. The eye thing only really bothers me at work. I have tested negative for strep throat, dr suggested i try Zyrtec for alleriges. I started taking last Thursday and it has not done anything. I'm getting so frusterated and not sure what this could be. I dont have any cold symptoms. I am 35 years old. I want to go back to the dr but not sure what else to tell them. THANKS!
Avatar f tn Ohhh well thank you very much.
Avatar f tn I got the ok on zyrtec during pregnancy from my allergist, OB, and pharmacist. I am positive that zyrtec is ok.
Avatar f tn Of course, as a Gt 3 I must keep in mind what Hector posted on another site, this week about the study of tx follow-up where out of 863 people 85 relapsed and 83 of those did so before Week 12. Two relapsed AFTER Week 12 and they were both Gt3s. However I am thanking God for the blessing of SVR 12 and am going to be aware of the possibility, but not stress over it. My Dr has already given me the paperwork for Labs end of May for a June appt.
Avatar m tn I took zyrtec around 8:00 PM and my allergies are really bad so i wanted to know if it is safe to take Allegra now

460830 tn?1347219306 ), but I never have had any problem with taking a normal dose of Zyrtec...if I go ahead and take a Zyrtec, and it turns out that I did already take one, would it do any harm?
Avatar f tn Well, it's official. I received my diagnosis today. I was getting a EMG and while I was in there my neuro busted in and filled me in. I also have arthritis in my spine. Awesomesauce! :-/ I am supposed to start a 3-5 day IV treatment of steroids and I think they gave me homework? I have a butt load of stuff to read about MS and medications and then in a month I go back for another appointment and decide what I want to take. Why do they all of the meds have to be injectable!?
Avatar f tn I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.
