Zyrtec gas

Common Questions and Answers about Zyrtec gas

zyrtec

says GB should come out but I'm not sure if it can't be treated or cured with alternative treatment OR if it may be caused by something else like Hypothyroidism. My symptoms are gas, bloating, belching that occur mostly at night. I can eat and feel fine majority of days but 5pm hits and I'm doomed all night. I'm a 35yr old male and get regular exercise and don't eat fried foods or red meat but only a few times a year. My night time only symptoms have the Docs baffled.

Basically I get these episodes of repetitive stomach growling in the same section, then pass gas. But sometimes its not just gas. Recently, I get the urge to use the bathroom, and it feels like I'll have to go bad, but it will just be gas accompanied by mucus and turds surrounded by the gel like substance. This time the mucous was stringy and I was worried if I had some type of parasite giving me stomach problems. My vision is a bit worse and I get headaches whenever I work out.
italian, mexican, chinese and deli sandwitches. The only medications I take are synthroid 50, Cenestine 0.625, Zyrtec D, Altace prn Lortab for degenerative disk disease. I do have problems with gas but not constipation which I assume is diet and getting older. I eat 1 Activa a dayand use Gas X. Once in a blue moon I eat a tums if I have eaten something spicy. Could any of this be contributing?

We have hardwood floors - some oriental rugs (very low shag) and gas forced air heat. He has had allergy testing - all negative. He has been treated for low-grade sinus infection (although not recently) for >30 on antibiotics - the runny did go away for a while but came back. His nose always runs. I have had him on Zyrtec liquid for about 2.5 weeks now and it is a bit better but still not gone. Any recommendations? I don't know what else to ask his MD or other.

in my stomach and gas and bloating. I am also extremely tired all the time since the dosage was raised to 80 mg. a day. I don't take any other meds except Albuterol when my cough is so bad I can't breathe. I do think the Aciphex helps the mouth blisters, which I think are caused by stomach acid rather than food allergy. Have you had a 24 hr. PH test to see if there is a lot of acid in your throat and esophagus?
Now, again based on my doctor recommendation I am using ZYRTEC temporarily. So far, it looks like ZYRTEC has also NO EFFECT on my body. Of course, one can argue that it needs some time to have some some effect on body.... etc. Friday, August 08, 2008, I have an appointment with Dermatologist. I cant wait to see what dermatologist will recommend.
and my interstital cytisis flares during allergy season so they told me to take zyrtec 2 times daily. here lately ive been having like lower stomach pains which feels like i need to go number two and when i do it takes me forever and really bad pains makin me double over and then when i do go its diarrhea or its very soft. when it is harder i still have blood in it. could it be my diet i rarely ever eat fruits and veggies and i work at a fast food place so i eat alot of fried and greasy stuff.
Last night I woke up from dreaming I was trying on a gas mask that belonged to former U.S. President Grant. It wouldn't come off my face and that's when I woke up feeling like I wasn't breathing. I'm 32 years old in pretty good shape. I've been in the Air Force for 7 years now and work out regularly. I'm 5'8" 165lbs and no known medical issues. What could cause this to happen? I don't take any medications except for Zyrtec but this started before taking it.
Sounds like you may need to stop the Zyrtec to see if the problem clears up but also keep in mind about the humidifier and gas heat.
I have had a similar problem since a severe attack of gastroenteritis (called "acute viral syndrome" by my MDs) in July 2001. I was hospitalized with a nasogastric tube for 2 weeks and ever since have had a terrible chronic cough, with mucous in my throat that I cough up until I throw up. I lose my voice to hoarseness after talking a few minutes. When I eat I have to have a glass of water at hand to wash everything down because most foods cause violent coughing when I try to swallow.
She has taken Benadryl ( 75 mg twice a day for a month ), then three Zyrtec a day for 3 to 4 weeks, now she is taking Claritin ( three a day ). No real relief. She took prednisone for two weeks while taking Zyrtec, and got complete relief. But, the scratching, biting started again as we were weaning her off the prednisone ( when she was down to one tab every other day ). The next drug we are considering is cyclosporine. I am seeking any one's experience with this treatment. Please advise.
I always remember my mom feeling better after they did the bladder distensions, and since the fluid her doctor used was medicated, it actually helped a lot. Also, her doctors put her on Zyrtec, the allergy pill to help treat her IC. Something about how there are histamines in your bladder that can bother the IC, and the antihistamines in Zyrtec reduced that. I can't recall the precise medical reasoning, but I remember she took it for years for her IC, and it never harmed it.
I'm currently on nasonex and zyrtec (walmart equivalent). Starting about two weeks ago, i started randomly throwing up mucus. I think it's nerves. lately i've been going through some harsh culture shock. In addition to that i've started a new job and I'm really stressed about it. All in all, I think it was nerves. This week, same thing, randomly throwing up mucus. Some days nothing, other days I'll throw up a bit. Interesting thing is that when i throw up i only bring up mucus.
On feb 21 I ordered a pcr dna test because I was worried and came back negative but then four days later I started to have stuffy nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, headache, pain in neck I thought it was my allergies and took mucinex, zyrtec, loratadin and made it worse. went to a walk in clinic and they though it might be viral and gave me augmentim. Over the weekend I've had itchy skin, had a small pink bump over my wisdom tooth that went away quickly and been having gas and bouts of diarrhea.
I am currently taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg, Lamotrigine 25 mg, Zyrtec, Levothyroxine 75mg, and Atenolol 50mg. I started Lamotrigine (lamictal generic) 2 weeks ago. On day 9, I developed severe diarrhea and cramps. It was slowed down with 1 pill of Immodium, but after 2 days I decided to eat a "regular" meal and got diarrhea again. So it's been on an off for 6 days, and this morning it was worse than it was the first day!
4 yr old daughter (born April 1st, 1999 by C-section) born with respiratory problems been on zyrtec since 8 months old. For the last 6-8 month she has had chronic coughing, congestion, cough is worse at night. In December was diagnosed with pnuemonia and hospitalized for 3 days. Doctors could not hear pnuemonia it was only found by xray. Has been on nebulizer with albuterol since December. After Hosp. stay got better for a few weeks but now cough is back, getting so bad she throws up at times.
So I am now currently on Protonix, Prednisone, Zyrtec (for my allergies), and am taking my nebulizer (albuterol for my asthma). My asthma seems to be fine, but I seem to be getting anxiety over one of the medications I am taking and I don't know which one. The gastritis, I think, is getting worse because I keep getting the feeling that my food is coming back up my throat(acid reflux?), indigestion, and bits of stomach pain/uneasiness. There is no burning in my chest though.
MRI on 19th of July, spoke to the MRI place said that the IV contrast and MRI contrast are different, need to fast 8 hrs pior to MRI asked if I can give 24 hr Zyrtec prior to fasting, didn't say anything. Can I give her this just in case she has the same reaction, are the two IV contrast different. all other organs spleen, kidneys, adrenals, pancreas have normal apprearance, including rectum, uterus, pelvis and bladder, and no abnormal bowel loops are seen.
Will steroids give a false presention to the doctors, all the while allowing me to walk about the campus like a normal guy, without stopping to breathe, feigning health? Male, 45, non-smoker, oil and gas industry, TX, fairly toxic environs at times but mostly OK, med leave since Jan 08...going crazy having my wife and children doing all the heavy lifting around the place. Meds:(currently) Symbicort, Albuterol neb, Zyrtec, Singulair, Saline spray.
Only two drugs remain, symbicort inhaler and zyrtec for allergies. Thousands of dollars, multiple ER hospitalisations for SOB, drugs, steroids, inhalers bla bla... So, you may have bronchiectasis entrained by pansinusitis. I can finally breathe again, my lungs are clearing out now that the ENT pulled all that garbage out of my head.
You're the first person to say you've experienced it too. It drives me absolutely crazy. I finally got mine to end today after taking 3 benedryl and one zyrtec. Yeah, I should be ready for bed really early tonight. Hydrocortisone cream works some but it's expensive and the relief doesn't seem to last long. I've been trying to do some internet research on this today - I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
Then one week later after an exhausting weekend working outdoors (I have bad allergies and had not been taking Zyrtec for a few weeks) another sudden headache and felt warm on my face but had no temperature. I also had what felt like a bad sinus infection and over the next several days experienced lots of drainage and some tenderness in the lymph nodes of the neck but not anything i would describe as swelling. The headaches and warm face have persisted all week.
After coming off the Levaquin my Prostate seemed to be more sensative and more inflamed. I experienced pain in my underarm Lympnodes and an increase in stomach gas...I also have seen the folliculitus come back in the same exact areas i first observed them....following uprotected sex with my girlfriend...... *EVENTUALLY I LEARN FROM MY GIRLFRIEND THAT SHE HAS A CYST in HER VAGINA *CAN THIS BE LINKED TO MY PROBLEMS?
Felt like I was being stabbed. I also have increased digestive issues during my period, always have. Gas, diarrhea, everything. Also, I have pretty bad anxiety and OCD. I was on cymbalta but had to go off of it for my sleep study and the withdrawals were so terrible that I just cannot go back on it. I am going to try to find an alternative as soon as I can see my doctor, but I don't have insurance right now. I've been worrying so much that it is severely interfering with my school work.
