Avatar f tn ve continued to use the netti pot and zyrtec or allegra OTC medication. Nothing is really helping. My eyes have been scratchy and there is draining/goop in them when I wake up in the morning. The drainage is progressively getting better, but it still continues. Does this sound like it is a sinus infection or just bad allergies?

Avatar f tn Zyrtec is an antihistaminic drug - it is against allergy. You was diagnosed to have an allergic sinusitis? Zyrtec can cause dry mouth and less urination. Cholestasis is a rare side effect. Nexium may cause itcing (pruritus). Crestor may cause less urination, jaundice...it is a possible cause of your problems. http://www.drugs.com/mtm/crestor.html It is possible that only a combination of the two drugs caused problems.
Avatar m tn I am a 50 year old male, who for the last few years, seems to have violent coughing/ gasping for breathe when encountered with: stale air (eg. Closed cars) or strong odor (eg. Car exhaust). I have been tested to be allergic to dust/ dust mites. After a couple of minutes of coughing and spiting out and having a tablet of Benadryl allergy medication, things are pretty normal. The above mentioned reactions happen mostly in morning.

Mild mucosal thickening at the inferior left maxillary sinus and minimal degree of mucosal thickening of the superomedial left maxillary sinus.

Avatar f tn Every two weeks she would have cold symptoms, eventually I got the same symptoms. We were never sick before that. Eventually, I reached for tylenol cold for her and myself, doctors refused to look into in, they said they don't treat colds. Year after I asked for allergy evaluation. Both doctors prescribed allergy nose sprays without any testing. The medicine didn't help. It even worsen our condition, adding post nasal drip to the already sensitive situation.

Avatar f tn I was told to take zyrtec. Now I have a rash on my upper thighs. Is it the generic zyrtec? Would the regular Zyrtec do the same? Have you ever heard of Diamox being prescribed for Meneire's disease? I find nothing in the literature about it and am hesitant to take it as it makes me very tired. I need to sleep about 3 hours a day when I take it. I don't want to experience vertigo again.
Avatar m tn After I see the headache specialist the doctor wants me to have a full work up with an allergist and see the ENT doctor at her practice. For now I just suffer with the waves of these symptoms take a zyrtec and Bayer aspirin.. Your thoughts?
Avatar m tn I went to work by riding a bike for about 20 minutes and then i vomited at work once. After that i was good for the rest of the afternoon. i came home, ate a sandwich, drank a beer, and threw up some mucus. at about 7pm, I went, ate rice, chicken, and some lettuce and went outside and felt ill. Almost threw up. Burped a few times and felt better. now I'm pretty much fine feeling. To back up a bit, I've been feeling tired and weak for about a week now.
Avatar f tn I finished up my 4th series of shots (each series being 1 shot a month for 6 months) and my last blood work came back at 471...three times the normal high. This may not sound like high levels compared to some but I have learned that every body has a different tolerance. I am now getting the large hives again and looks like another round of Xolair is in my future.....once I can get my new insurance to pay for it. It IS expensive.
Avatar n tn One day i felt short of breath off and on. I also took a Zyrtec. I almost went to the hospital because i felt bad and felt like my allergies/ sinuses were causing it. I also have anxiety. I see my Doctor next week but my questions are: Could that have been Allergy induced Asthma? Could it start now even though i am 26? And how common is Multiple Chemical Sensitivity? And can Perinnial Rhinitus Allergies get worse with time?
689528 tn?1364135841 s control, like this time of year ,he gets a prednisone per day for 3 or 4 days and then every other day for two or until things calm down. Zyrtec can be expensive, but we actually found a generic brand at the dollar store! $1. for 14 pills, so we clear their shelves! Our poor boy suffered until we found this new vet, every other night, we would do oatmeal baths, benedryl cream, benedryl pills, alcohol rubs, ice.. it was heartbreaking. We can totally relate.
