I had major motion sickness especially in a moving vehicle when I was 19weeks! Lol it was terrible, I would get so mad at BD for every little turn he made Lol.. it does go away and I was so happy when it did, I would avoid leaving the house unless I absolutely HAD to go somewhere, I just hybernated myself Lol.
I just recently took a long plane trip(6 hours time difference) and since returning I have had debilitating motion sickness plus horrible anxiety. I am on day 6 of this. Could this be hormones? I am 51 years old and haven't had a period in 7 months. I don't know what to do. I can not function because I am quite dizzy and feel sick to my stomach. I am considering making an appt with a neurologist. Help!
I have always had very bad motion sickness and a lot of times this is what my headaches feel like, even though I havent done anything that would usually bring on my motion sickness. I am also very tired no matter how much sleep I get. I can get a full eight hours and still be extremely tired and sometimes even have to take naps during the day on my days off. My family members thought maybe it was my vision but I have tried wearing my glasses but still feel the same way.
Ginger ale, milk, and peppermints are good for tummy indigestion. You can take motion sickness pills from the drugstore, too. I have a relative who always gets sick on the plane, so she takes those pills, meclazine is in it, I think. Sit next to a window if you can, if it's clear out, you can focus your gaze on the horizon and it'll help a little.

So I was talking to my bf today about being sick, because I have been out of "gravol" or motion sickness pills for a couple of days. he was pretty shocked to hear that I have been taking between 4 and 10 everyday for that past 3-4 years. I called my doctor and explained to them that i had tryd everything and was in tears! Well they told me not to worry because there are steps i can take to get better.. the first step which is the easiest is to take one 10mg pill of zyrtec once a day.. I know what youre thinking isnt that an allergy medicine??
Motion sickness bracelet u can get at the drugstore. It works good to me. And pharmacist told me lots of women used it for morning sickness so I bought and tried wearing it. Since then I never missed any days at work and my body went back to normal. My doctor told me you can wear it as long as you want. No harm. Not taking any medication.
Something that my doctor recommended to me for morning sickness is just regular old less drowsy dramamine (the motion sickness medicine). I've used it for the last 48 hours and I'm actually feeling a LOT better. Yesterday instead of throwing up I was actually eating everything in sight. Only draw back is that it still makes you slightly sleepy, or at least it does for me.
