zyrtec

2002523 tn?1327612787 $11 at CVS isn't so painful but I'd love any better recommendations.
Avatar n tn Hi, it sounds like you have had quite an ordeal with these allergies! i also have allergies, but mine were bad enough that i developed asthma and had to go on several medications to get it under control, now i only take zyrtec as needed. i don't know about allergies that are "digested first" with zyrtec, everyone has different reactions- but zyrtec is systemic so it should be help equally with your sore throat and itching.
Avatar m tn s Rx club for $20 annual membership and found the best price-90 caps of 50mg cost about $120.00. Did you know you can also go to Costco pharmacy without being a member & get meds there? Price is comparable, Walgreens is closer for me! I have noticed on occasion that he licks his lips the evening after receiving an AM dose of medication. He's on 150mg every 3 days, (he weighs about 75 pounds).
Avatar m tn I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
959034 tn?1253671476 Thanks!!!!! Should I try zyrtec then? My doctor said any. Are you switching to zyrtec? Is anyone else taking it? Something else? Is it safe?
Avatar n tn These types of questions are always best answered by a docotor or pharmacist. However, phenylephedrin is a decongestant, benadryl is an antihistamine and vicodin is a narcotic pain reliever. The concern would be that both bendryl and the vicodin would cause drowziness on their own. They would magnify that effect when taken together. You might want to take Zyrtec instead of the benadryl as Zyrtec doesn't cause the drowziness that benadryl does.
535822 tn?1443976780 I am uncertain what causes the hives I get, it may be from the plants in my garden, cactus etc, but they have been severe this year I thought once fall came it would ease off but it is worse. So which OTC would help me , is Zyrtec worth trying I have tried claritin doesnt do anything ,and do these kick in straight away or take a few days to work, yhe burning and itching I get round my neck ,tops of arms is really painful .
Avatar n tn has zyrtec been banned,i cant find it anywhere,if it has been banned then wot was the reason?
Avatar f tn What are the best strollers to purchase or the best crib? I'm so out the loop haven't bought baby things since 1997. What are the absolute worst? What bottles are the best?
Avatar f tn I too believe I am addicted to zyrtec or the generic anyway. The problem is that it's the only med. that helps keep sinus infections away! Plus, I am allergic to all types of fruit, but while taking my daily dose of zyrtec I can eat fruit again. I develop a horrible itch all over my body if I don't take it and it can start patches of a rash too. I've been taking it for a little over a year now.
2863077 tn?1436670789 Also she said I could have developed allergies and prescribed me zyrtec. She says it helps prevent headaches. Try taking zyrtec for a few days or a week and see if it helps.
Avatar m tn You may also want to consider taking one of the over the counter allergy meds such as Zyrtec or Benadryl. HOWEVER, do not take ANYTHING without checking with your doctor first, especially if you are already on other medication or under a doctor's care for anything. You sure don't want to end up with an interaction between meds. Best of luck - I know how it is with cat allergies - mine are HORRIBLE!
Avatar f tn Doctor recommended XYZAL. But I went to Pharmacy and the price is HUGE. Pharmacist said that Claranix and ZERTEC are in the same family. I got a shot of dermacort (Prednisone) today and bought Claranix . Waiting for allergy Doc. appointment. Last time I went to allergist, I succumbed to getting allergy drops (like shots, only drops under the tongue). I did that for 2 years. Didn't help. Didn't help stress, heat, chemicals, etc.
Avatar f tn They are the best!! I used it with my first pregnancy and I'd definitely recommend...
Avatar m tn Really a good news. I will like to know the possible price for the drugs and which company are going to be given authorize to deliver the drugs.
689528 tn?1364135841 10mg every day for the first five days and then every other day for the next five, in addition he gets a generic Zyrtec everyday. Now he just gets a zyrtec every day, and if his allergies act up beyond the zyrtec's control, like this time of year ,he gets a prednisone per day for 3 or 4 days and then every other day for two or until things calm down. Zyrtec can be expensive, but we actually found a generic brand at the dollar store! $1. for 14 pills, so we clear their shelves!
Avatar f tn I just asked my pharmacist and she compared a bunch of brands for me. Turned out they are all basically the same but the price chopper brand was cheapest so that's what i use. Good luck.
Avatar m tn I received my new script today and noticed the price listed this month was $33,600 In past scripts it showed $28,000 I was under the impression that there was pressure to lower the cost. Thank god for the help of the foundation.
Avatar n tn a bottle of about 360 pills cost only $15. If you take Zyrtec, you will know this is an AMAZING price since 20 pills can often cost more at the grocery store. My allergy Dr. assures me that people with skin symptoms from allergies and celiac's disease usually take 4 a day despite what the bottle say, but do talk to your Dr. and make sure he or she is on board. Good luck to both of us! This is a really annoying problem!
1807991 tn?1438779770 it mainly effects my entire trunk front and back....I take Atarax and Zyrtec but my best results come when I can beat the rash so I take Atarax 3 times a day and Zyrtec every night ~ sometimes an addition Benadryl comes in handy.....my doctor said that the treatment was still so new (availability and price prevents treatment for many) and that all the long term side effects are unknown.....
