zyrtec and tinnitus

I have been on Rhinocort, Zyrtec, and Singular. Some of my allergies are being controlled like itchy eyes, congestion, and runny nose but the ear ringing, pain, clogging persists. Since my medicine is addressing some issues but not all should I assume my ear problems are not allergies or is it possible my medicine just isn't covering all symptoms. Should I consider shots as a next step?

1) clogged ears - I blow them out every so often during the day 2) Very loud tinnitus 3) Stuffy nose - constantly blowing out mucous 4) irregular bowel movements - not loose - just not healthy and not regular 5) canker sore on lip 6) irregular skin patch on inside of left cheek - this is new I will get healthy for a few weeks - with limited tinnitus and then the pollen and molds kick up and I am back to this state. I just need some relief to feel good.

I am a 50 year old male with intermittent/ mild tinnitus and slight fullness in my right ear since January.. With the death of my father on May 6, 2016 the condition got worse. My doctor was OK with me taking zyrtec. You just have to make sure to drink lots and lots of water.

If Zoloft curbs stress and anxiety, and stress aggravates tinnitus, there may be just a cause and effect relationship, and not necessarily a medical relationship between the two. I'm sure other health factors could be involved as well.

I have had your symptoms as well, and I gave up on doctors and am trying to treat myself. (Doing better, thanks) I think I have some permanent damage to at least one blood vessel in my left eye. While I'm on that, I also had a "mattering" problem as well. I think you are right, there could be one cause, why believe a group of people that can't fix the problem, at least that's my philosophy.

It seems like Akira has seasonal allergies and dust allergies in addition to her food allergies. Because I really don't want to give her long term steroids, I decided to only give her the 1/4 tablet of Zyrtec that the vet told me to give her before. Both Allegra and Zyrtec are 24 hour medications in my area. I have known several people who took 3 Zyrtec in one day, and my allergist says that you can't really OD on antihistimines. You should be sure to drink PLENTY of water and watch for signs of constipation and dehydration. You should make sure that your dr is well aware of how much of these meds you are taking to make sure that they are ok with any other medications you maybe taking.

I've had this EXACT same thing since mid March. Started out with pain and ringing in the left ear, swollen gland behind it. Then moved to the right ear. Accompanied with a sinus infection and severe sinus pressure. Sinus infection has went away, glands are no longer swollen, still crunching and ringing in both ears. My doctor put me on a round a antibiotics and didn't help. ENT doctor said it was tinnitus, although I have no hearing loss.

My suggestion is forget about it and let time heal. Every heavy drug treatment has possible long term effects. But my tinnitus has retracted to a less noticeable hiss and happens less often. So I expect in time the tinnitus will go away.

Now he just gets a zyrtec every day, and if his allergies act up beyond the zyrtec's control, like this time of year ,he gets a prednisone per day for 3 or 4 days and then every other day for two or until things calm down. Zyrtec can be expensive, but we actually found a generic brand at the dollar store! $1. for 14 pills, so we clear their shelves!

Does Tensor Tympani Muscle have any problem and causes hissing and roaring tinnitus in some cases because of muscle tension. And does it cause pressure fullness, ear pain, jaw pain? If i have problem with my inner ear, why should have pain in jaw? In my case jaw pain happens because of middle ear problems.
