Zyrtec and night terrors

Common Questions and Answers about Zyrtec and night terrors

zyrtec

Well after she threw up that first time monday morning she was fine again all day and just as happy as could be. Again on monday night and Tuesday morning she threw up again. I have been nursing my daughter every since she was born and I'm wondering if there is any way possible that somehow my milk is making her sick. She nurses a little during the day still but mostly at night because she sleeps in the same bed with me.
He had an MRI done for brain and spine at 3 1/2 years old and it came back ok. They did a sleep study due to night terrors and trouble sleeping. Came back normal. He was put in physical therapy as his legs were not strong enough for him to stand for very long and he was having a lot of the twitches and falling when he was walking/running. He was also refered to a speech therapist as I was told his speech is slurred.
But, the leg muscle pains have always been there . I also have night terrors, (always have had them, but they have gotten worse over the years) so I just contributed that to old age too. I also have IBS and have since childhood. I just figured I was falling apart due to old age when everything began to get worse back around 2004 or so. I am 65 . Just going to the grocery store wares me out!

MY PED ALSO TOLD ME THAT SHE WOULD GROW OUT OF IT AND THAT THEY WERE NIGHT TREMORS/TERRORS. LAST NIGHT IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND IM AT MY WITS END!!! WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS IS THAT WE BOTH DONT SLEEP, AND WE BOTH END UP CRYING TO NO END. ANY SUGGESTIONS AT THIS POINT WOULD BE GRATLY APPRECIATED.
i still have the symptoms of hypothyroidism even though my blood tests have been normal for about 6 mo. most recently, my sleep cycle has changed because i have sleep paralysis and night terrors, so i sleep during the day because sleeping at night scares me. i had a sllep study which was deemed inconclusive because i awoke 98 times in 6 hours and never reached REM sleep.
Please make yourself at home and snuggle down. It will be a bit bumpy, but worth it!
I have been on Zyrtec since the age of 12, and have also experienced the same night terrors that you speak of on multiple occasions. In mine, my eyes are open, and they feel almost as if they are rolling back in my head, and I am always trying to call out for help, but can't. It is amazing to hear of smoeone else who has experienced all of these the same as me.
She's been running a fever of 102 since last night and she has a runny nose. We called our pediatrician immediately and his first inclination was that it may be the well water that we have. We live in a somewhat rural area so we have our own well. I didn't much care for that answer, I'm not sure how well water would make my daughter's lips, fingers, and toes blue so we took her to the E.R.
Please understand I am not a doctor or medical professional, just a person trying to cope with this bizarre issue. But I know it has turned around like night and day and I am a VERY VERY happy person.
it started about a year and half ago, and i started getting night terrors, and the pressure would not go away!! and i had a tingling sensation in my left hand down my neck and my elbow on left hand! so frusterating and scarey! the doctor gave me antibiotic amoxicillin and it caused my skin to burn a bit, and then he referred me to a shrink saying it might be depression or something!!! well, its back again!!
