zyrtec and dry mouth

I have allergies and woke up this morning with a very dry mouth and it felt like my soft palate was very raw. I am having a lot of drainage and feel terrible. I took a Zyrtec hoping for relief but nothing is better. Is the raw feeling caused by allergies!

I am writing it off from the Zyrtec, I felt like I could pass out at anytime exhausted and dry mouth from the Zyrtec. I will be sticking to Claritin. Anyone find these issue get worse when its really humid and hot out? I try to keep hydrated but palps even increase during the summer?

Had been on Augmentin for a sinus infection, just finishing up the script, and take Crestor, Nexium, and Zyrtec on a regular basis. Symptoms started a few days after starting generic Zyrtec, which also caused unbelievable dryness that felt like I was dehydrated (no vomiting, though). A day after the chills, I noticed my urine was dark and my stools were very light, almost gray, and I started getting very itchy but no rash.

,she has decreased appetite especially in the evening and she only weighs 42 pounds and is 42 inches tall. I spoke with her doctor and he suggested we increase her medicine to 15mg twice a day. I have put her on a bland diet as well. She is also on zyrtec for allergies which she takes every pm. Please help I do not know what else to do for her. I don't know if we are following the right path for treating her. If she needs to have some tests done to find out what is truly her problem.

I've been waking up for about 8 months straight with a sore throat and itchy ears. I went and seen a doctor about this and was told I have allergies, I was perscribed the generic for singulair for 10 days, and zyrtec for about 2 weeks to see if I got better. I opted to take the medicine at night (tonight)...and i can't sleep and my throat is so dry even after water. I really dis like medicine...I get anxious...what are some other options to feel better?... HELP!

Every body is different though and if you notice it everytime you take the drug, maybe discontinue and try something else like Zyrtec.

t resist me all that much. I just reached through the holes from the sides and pried her mouth open and gave her the 1/4 tablet of Zyrtec. She seemed surprised that that was all there was too it, so it seems like she has figured out that if she doesn't fight me, we get this misery over with quickly. Obviously, the little sweetie trusts me and knows I'm actually just trying to help her. She had been just a few feet away out on the patio, which isn't all that big at all.

after day 4 the burning went away but the tingling was constant. like pins and needles in my mouth and roof of my mouth when i push my tongue up on the roof of my mouth there was pressure (like sinus i assume) so my doctor said i did NOT have thrush. all doctors said this. even though there is always this thick coating on the back of my tongue and it feels like wool all the time.

I do have allergies so i am greatly assuming its that (and the fact my room os severely dry with the Ac on at night). Will go and get tested next monday to give it time.

re just very dry. I also have dry mouth and very mild urinary retention in the morning (takes long to urinate in the morning), which I assume are side effects from my overdosing on medications. So, my question is, would it be worth it to go see an allergist or do I have to suffer until the end of allergy season? I feel like I have tried all classes of medications available.

Without the Zyrtec, my hives are not only unbearable but they also start to present in my throat, mouth and on my lips, so going without it is not really an option for me.

I don't know what else to do but this is really getting me ! For the past four days now I've been so stuffed up and sneezing like crazy ! Before I was pregnant I was told hot showers are bad. Luke warm is better and Vaseline right after. Should pat dry nit completely dry of to keep moisture in. But during my pregnancy I used 100 pure natural African shea butter.

Could this be a result of a medicine I am taking? Coinsidentally, 2 years ago I started taking ADHD medicine which has side effects of dry mouth (leading to bad breath?). The last 2-3 weeks, I have had what we call cotton mouth, where everything is dry and my tongue feels as if it been burned. I have been everywhere on the web and here and nothing seems to fit, until i did some research and saw that dry mouth is sympotmatic of diabetes. Can anyone shed some light? During the medicine for the reflux I start to have dry mouth and toothache . The toothache went off after 2 weeks and dry mouth is start around .My tongue started to have strange and irradiated feeling like scalding tongue and the upper wall of my mouth also have irradiated feeling . I am a 47 year old woman with terrible dry mouth. I have had several tests and the doctor can't find anything in the blood tests. This is miserable! Could this be a symptom of perimenopause and is there some type of medication that could help? I have tried many over the counter remedies and nothing seems to help.

Yea I have dry mouth and nose. I was getting a bloody nose bcuz it was dry. Try using a humidifier.
