I just started taking Claritin (Loratadine) but it hasn't helped at all! The nurse at my school said to take Zyrtec everyday and that it really doesn't make you as drowsy as they say. I just don't know what time to take it, or what time is best...

I asked my doctor first n was told I could but u have to watch later in pregnancy because it does make your blood pressure rise a little bit. but it is safe for you and baby as long as your blood pressure is under control.

Had been on Augmentin for a sinus infection, just finishing up the script, and take Crestor, Nexium, and Zyrtec on a regular basis. Symptoms started a few days after starting generic Zyrtec, which also caused unbelievable dryness that felt like I was dehydrated (no vomiting, though). One it could be the one of the medications. I was taking Zyrtec for allergies and it would give me stomach pains and I always felt like I was going to have diareah. Blood pressure and heart rate is supposed to drop during sleep. It is, within reasonable limits, a good sign. Your blood pressure during sleep is just beautiful. hi id advise you to go see your doctor ell them your on pain and would like to be prescirbed paramol 500mg for the pain and nifadine (25mg) to lower your blood pressure thi should help . you may also be diabetic so get your blood sugar levels tested to as that cauded dizzness and you BP is high but not to bad it ment to be around : 120 over 70 pulse 60bpm.

However, he does experience fatigue, unusual warmth, nausea, feels like he could pass out, and then he gets the blotchy red and white patches on his face. I am concerned it could be possibly related to blood pressure and/or a cardiac issue? Can you let me know your thoughts? Thanks so much!

but, I have shortness of breath and a feeling of pressure on my chest along with sporadic itching and skin crawling feeling. No rash. I have had all allergy skin and blood tests (with the exception of the dermo patch test)and chest xrays which were all negative. I take zytec and singulaire and have had 3 steroid shots this calendar year. Heat and humidity seem to bring out the symptoms. I am trying to determine possible causes. Can you please assist?

I also am having issues with high blood pressure and am on HCTZ for that, and have high morning blood sugars. Am still a bit tired and have pressure behind the eyes as well as stinging eyes. I would welcome any suggestions from others too. I am waiting on labs just done today. We'll see.

Without the Zyrtec, my hives are not only unbearable but they also start to present in my throat, mouth and on my lips, so going without it is not really an option for me.

I was also advised to take Zyrtec and wondered if Zyrtec had any more benefit for skin reactions thank Claritin. Claritin didn't help at all. Two dermatologists suggested Zyrtec over Claritin . I hesitate to try the Zyrtec as I took it once a few years ago and promptly feel into a deep sleep. If it is better for the skin than Claritin can it be taken at night and do any good? hello, i suffer from chronic hives and joint pains, i have been to my general doctor and dermatologist, my general doctor ran blood tests and found nothing out of the ordinary. my dermatologist just has me on anti histamine drugs singulair etc.. these drugs only aid in the itching part of this. my joints constantly ache feet,knees etc.. some days its hard to walk and makes my job very difficult.

2 ct scans - head and spine, xrays, eeg, caratoid (sp?) scan, blood tests, 2 MRIs head and spine. The first ct scan showed a mass that was "inconclussive" whatever that means and the MRI showed no sign of a stroke. I was released with no instructions for follow up. Very good blood pressure, heart rate, no speech problems, walking problems etc. Could any of these symptoms be caused from the injections? If not, any ideas to check.

Be careful with these medicines if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or kidney problems.

My doc said to use zyrtec for a cold if you have afib, which I do. Most antihistamines will up your blood pressure causing worse fib action. Have you ever had shock treatment? I'm thinking about it.
