zyprexa and remeron

m pregnant so I stopped taking it but I was on Zyprexa before I got pregnant and it helped me sleep and I really need something. If anyone has anything to say about Zyprexa and pregnancy I would love to hear it (I'm not taking Zyprexa at the moment.) Thank you for your time.

I am currently 26 and just about impotent, i can still get it up but it takes quite a bit of coaxing, i feel blessed that i can get it up at all after years of risperdal depakote seroquel and now im currently on zyprexa, i think shrinks are the biggest quacks and think you should check out this site http://www.stopshrinks.

After very sever psychotic depression (so bad I couldnt hold down water) three years later I have made a good recovery. I just need 2.5 mg zyprexa to live my life. It prevents relapse. But the weight gain is hard. Has anyone found an alternative that works as well as zyprexa but without the weight.

I used Buspar 10 years ago and got off ativan and my anxiety went away. I was on Zyprexa at the beginning and yes it caused a big weight gain. I have been on Ativan for a year and a half. My history is long and I think I posted it a couple of times on this site and on the fibromyalgia site. Been through a lot, am tapering slowly off the Ativan but am exchanging to Valium to make the process slower.

How long does it take and how do I reduce the amount? I've been changed from Zyprexa to Seroquel because my depression came back. Within days I was extremely dizzy and nauseous and I concluded that it was withdrawal from Zyprexa so the Psychiatrist said to go back on it. Two months later, when I was feeling better, we tried it again but the same thing happened. By this time I was being told that I had an inner ear problem or it was caused by the new med.

I was on Zyprexa for about a year and a half and I got a few of these murmurs. I was reassured that they were harmless and because they didn't especially hurt I was satisfied with this answer. Since then I have been switching around medications like a lab rat, and most of the others have caused me significant constirnation. The best for my mind seemed to be Geodon, but then again I was only on it for about 10 days before reading that it may cause Parkinson-like symptoms.

A few years back when I had chronic insomnia and got very anxious and depressed due to the sleep loss, a psychiatrist prescribed me Remeron and Zyprexa. Zyprexa to get the sleep going until Remeron kicks in. I fortunately saw my doctor who got very angry with the psychiatrist for giving me Zyprexa as I was not psychotic and secondly there are very bad side effects from it.

Hello,my name is Myriam I have vivid dreams every nights and feel so exhausted when I get up. I take sleeping pills for a long time(restoil,zyprexa,remeron)for over 9yeears.But my doctor change my regiment to (bromazepam,seraquel,remeron) I still can't sleep and hate the seraquel. My brother takes it w/his Zoloft, Klonopin, Zyprexa and Remron. He swears this is his feel good pill, takes it at 4pm and feels great! Not sure if it is because of the combo or the remron alone?

Most people are not on just one med.

I had gotten quite fat over the years due to Depakote, Zyprexa, Remeron, depression, and over 2 years lost it all and have kept it off. I simply cannot risk gaining the weight again. It will depress me irretrievably. The other is mood changes/depression. I have a system that works for me. I'm terrified of becoming so manic or depressed that I don't know which end is up. I do not want to risk becoming psychotic again. I was a danger to both myself and others.

I am on Zyprexa, Prozac, lorazepam, lunesta and trazadone. I have taken lorazepam for 9 years 1-1.5 mg prn. Dr tries to wean me down but I get sleep deprived the go into full blown mania so he then restarts it. Is it possible weaning off benzos causes mania or is this part of my disorder?

How well can Effexor XR 150 mg plus Remeron 15 mg help depression, and how long does it take to see any improvement?

I've heard that is one of the drawbacks for Remeron. I've only been on it for a month and no weight gain except the 5 lbs that I had lost from the terrible withdrawl side effects of the Paxil. My Doctor only plans to keep me on it until my body gets use to the Prozac....and I agree I'm ok on the Remeron, but don't feel as though it is helping me that much.

Try 6 small meals a day with a protien and carb in small portions. I take ayprexa and I have lost 46 pounds and I am not diabetic I love my zyprexa and I am not going to give it up. I did gain weight at first on it but I have since lost the weight. It is possible to keep the weight off on zyprexa.

Between now and then, I have been diagnosed with OCD, Social anxiety disorder, GAD, major depressive disorder, ADHD, and most recently, aspergers/high functioning autism.

I would get a full 7 hours. The main problem with Remeron is the extreme weight gain, and the combo of Remeron and Ambien made me sleepwalk. Since I'm now pregnant, I'm not allowed to take these drugs, but found another alternative therapy. Hey Leahy, not to worry, you did not sound like your adrenals were bothered, and besides, I think I had some adrenal problems to begin with and just guessed the Remeron threw me over the edge. I don't remember going off the Remeron, as I said I have no recollection of my two months in the hospital. When I got out, it was no on the list of drugs for me to take. You can google the drug and at drug.com or rxlist.com and other medicine websites, they'll give you tips on getting off it.

I have concerns because I am suppose to increase the Remeron from 15mg to 30mg if there is no change, and I KNOW this can be a HIGHLY addictive drug and hard to come off of. I dont want to start something that I cant stop if I have to. At this point in my life most days just getting out of bed is a fight and great feat. If I did not have my 2 boys I wouldnt but I know for thier sake I have to keep up a good smiling face. THANKS!!!

Hi I would like to know if after three years of taking low doses of sertraline 25 mg and 2.5 mg of Zyprexa the nausea and dizziness I feel can be due to the discontinuation of the meds. I was prescribed due to a depresion an chronic anxiety conduct. I also experience a bbit of tingling in my hands and feet that goes on and off switching around.

it worked and I was benzo clean for 1 1/2 years. Doc and I decided it was time to wean of remeron. weight gain was awful, and since I never had an anxiety disorder before, figured it would be ok. after a slow wean, jumped off remeron at 5mg. felt fine for 2-3 weeks. Then severe anxiety among other symptoms started. GP thought it was anxiety coming through. He gave me Ativan, and I was so desperate I took it. 1-2mg a day for just a week. kept getting worse.

Sounds like that Celexa was pooping out on you and you needed the Zyprexa to jump start it. Same thing has happened to me on more than a few antidepressants. Lithium also makes for a good booster drug, but most people don't try it as an add on because they think it's only for Bi-polar.
