zopiclone overdose effects

August 2013. I know zopiclone is a non benzo "z class" drug. Question: in the category for benzo's in the UDS IS ZOPICLONE INCLUDED IN THIS CLASS.?

I overdosed on zopiclone and the ENTIRE last week has been a blur. I didnt do it to commit suicide, i took about 5-7 pills. But the worst part is i dont remember how i got to the hospital, what happened there, who spoke to me, no doctors no anything. Eventually i was transferred to an inpatient unit for mental health and discharged, but I get depressed everytime i think about not remembering anything that happened for 2-3 days after incident.

Is having side effects a good sign the meds trying to work on day 3 and managing to put up with them for now slight head ache but more the dry mouth and horrible taste just wanting people's opinions on this and is it good that I'm experiencing day 3 of switching straight over from another that caused side effects for the 5 weeks I was on them and couldn't take it anymore Thanks

Addition. I`m confused about Zopiclone- it works through benzo-reseptors and causes same kind of effects as benzos, though it is not a benzo, right? . From wikipedia:The risk of dependency on zopiclone when used for less than 2 weeks or only used occasionally is low. However, this is disputed by one study of low dose zopiclone taken for only 7 nights. It found that discontinuation of zopiclone caused significant rebound insomnia.

I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. My hot flashes are now looked after by the ERT but the sleep problems aren’t. I have been on Zopiclone for the past 7 months; am now taking 5 mg at bedtime and 5 more mg in the middle of the night. In January my PCP started me on Effexor XR and he wants to double it to 150mg help boost norepinephrine. I had a hard time with nausea when I started it and hesitate.

I just realized that I have been taking three 300mg tablets of WellbutrinXL and I haven't felt any of its effects. No jitteriness, and more importantly, no seizures. What does this say about how good WellbutrinXL is for me? I felt the same way taking 900 mg as I did taking 450 mg. I did call my doctor who told me to take 150 mg today and resume the 450mg (my regular dose) tomorrow. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Instead, the pharmacist gave her 150mcg of it. After three months, she was feeling awful, Ached all over had a fever and much more. What advise can I give her and what kind of doctor does she need to see to get better? The GP that put her on it is giving her prednisone to make her feel better but as soon as she goes off of it the fever and pain come back and she is having awful effects of the prednisone. I have depression and post traumatic Stress disorder and am currently on Mirtrazipine, Venoflaxine, Quitiepine and Zopiclone I have been treated for this since my mid twenties, last year I had three small focal seizures which no pathology found. I am now about to start on Sodium Valproate increasing dosage initially to 250mg in morning and 500mg at night this is being prescribed primarily as a mood stabiliser but is thought to help stop the seizures.

s getting hard to breath, l had the same symptom a few months back, went to several especialists but none of them found any respiratory or circular problem. It turned out to be zopiclone I was taking to sleeping. I am not taking zopiclone anymore. Now the only medications I am taking are carbamazepine for BP II and anti inflammatory for my sciatica. m experiences most of the listed pysical side effects (dilated pupils, nausea for most of the day, dizzyness, some restlessness etc.), but mentally I feel like I'm alive again and don't want to give up this medication at all. I have corrected the dosage as of today (1 x 50mg/day for the remaining of the 14 days and then increase to 1 x 100mg/day).
