As far as I'm aware Prozac is the most stimulating of the SSRIs. It also has the longest half life and is supposed to be the easiest to quit taking. If your problem is just anxiety I would try something else first. I find Zoloft to be a bit stimulating for me. Lexapro was very neutral and Paxil was very sedating. But we are each different so you may like Prozac.
With the stresses of school, have increases my use of zopiclone. Was on 3.75mg, then 7.5mg and up and down when possible to cut back or needed because of stress.
Finished my RX Dec 26 and have been without it for about 7 days now. No tapering. Symptoms have included rebound insomnia, intense anxiety that runs through my body and stresses me out when night time approaches. Nausea. No appetite. Depressed. Anxious.
I've been taking zopiclone to help me sleep which I think it works but only getting about 3-4 hours sleep from them... I came of zopiclone tablets yesterday and found it really hard to get any sort of sleep but I don't want to live my life through taking them...
Basically I mix trazodone and zopiclone because I was instructed to by the GP. When I needed to take more Zopiclone I first made sure there were no reported contraindications between it and trazodone anyway, and held back to two thirds the dosse of trazodone to part compensate for the increase in the other. I feel if anything, reporting that should hopefully clarify to anybody reading this that a mix of those two drugs is not of medical concern, as it was suggested by my GP.
From March, 2010, I started to take zopiclone at the same time, the maxinum I had taken was 16pills/day and now I was taken 8-10pills/day.
I found that I got weight loss, weakness, non stable mental all the days.
I want to quit all of them but it seems very difficult because everyday I had to work for money.

s so hard. Depression steals our life from us. Has this been going on for more than two weeks? Have you sought any help for this? For most, depression is treatable. It takes time, patience and practice. You are lethargic and tired during the day and not sleeping at night? What other symptoms do you have?
I have depression and post traumatic Stress disorder and am currently on Mirtrazipine, Venoflaxine, Quitiepine and Zopiclone I have been treated for this since my mid twenties, last year I had three small focal seizures which no pathology found. I am now about to start on Sodium Valproate increasing dosage initially to 250mg in morning and 500mg at night this is being prescribed primarily as a mood stabiliser but is thought to help stop the seizures.

You need to be patient as hard as that it. Sub has such a long half life- I believe it is 21 days before it is completely out of your system. Just surrender and try not to watch the clock. I came off of 150 mg of oxy/nalexone cold turkey. I definitely did not feel remotely human at a week. But on day 12 I had a board meeting for the non-profit I volunteered at. I was scared but totally fine. It felt good to go out and connect with people.
5 mg and it worked for about a year but i started taking more and more untill my doctor agreed that taking 2x zopiclone at night would give me a better quality of life seen as though the pain kept me awake. 2 turned to 3 a night followed closely by 4 untill my 56 tablets a month were lasting 2 weeks max...
Thank you for your help of replying to my worries... I was also on doxycycline but no other medication... I came off my zopiclone last night and found it really hard to sleep but don't want to live my life taking zopiclone to help me sleep for a few hours especially when I have a baby on the way...
I overdosed on zopiclone and the ENTIRE last week has been a blur. I didnt do it to commit suicide, i took about 5-7 pills.
But the worst part is i dont remember how i got to the hospital, what happened there, who spoke to me, no doctors no anything. Eventually i was transferred to an inpatient unit for mental health and discharged, but I get depressed everytime i think about not remembering anything that happened for 2-3 days after incident.
