I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. But that mad no difference.

More common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue and delirium... and in rare cases, seizure. Could the reason I am having these strange feeling and light-headedness be because the the Zolpidem which put me to sleep be out of the equation? I did feel the light headed feeling when I was also on Zolpidem but the Zolpidem did put me out to sleep.

the white Zoldepam is 10 mg the ones that you were taking before were probably 5 mg i take the 10 mg and have for about 3 years i have had no side effects are you sure it is the ambien and not some other med i have had 1 perso tell me that they thought it was the ambien that made them sleep walk one night, but i do not know you mught look up side effects for ambien luck jo

At this time I was also taking zolpidem every night. I read some stuff on zolpidem side effects and it appeared that after my surgery some of the rare side effects started cropping up. I attributed my anxiety to that. So I quit the zolpidem ct (which I probably shouldn't have) and did have a miserable few weeks, but a lot of the pains I was feeling went away. Of course new pains showed up like a back ache, which I still have.

Also are there long term effects of zolpidem? I was instructed in class that zolpidem should only be given for short term around a month. My only other medical issue is mild-moderate tourettes that is managed well.

There is lot of mixed reaction from the users of Zolpidem to help sleep, it has done wonders in few people while few are not satisfied with its use or the side effects of the drug and its dependence. Ambien is meant for short-term use and not for years. I would like to suggest you to consult a sleep doctor and discuss the other options for alternate drugs. Take care and share your thoughts.

Things like benadryl and ibuprofen are taken without thought. They can either compound side effects of the prescribed drug and some have issues all their own. Warnings don't sound like a bad idea.

My daughter is having horrible side effects with her Zolpidem. She is suffering from post tramatic stress and has very real nightmares. It takes several hours for her realize they are dreams. She is sleep/wake having conversations she doesnt remember and and having conversations with us that did not happen, Sleep walking, cleaning.... I am probably experiencing every side effect this medicine can deliver. Have had 2 transfusions within 4 weeks of each other and the second one only increased my cell count from 7.5 to 7.7. I was given Procrit and was told that I may have to have this injection every week. I am also experiencing sores and problems in my mouth. The doctor says that this is also a side effect to the medicine.

Does anyone know of any side effects from using the circulation booster. I have the opportunity to buy a second hand one, but my brother believes it can't be good for your muscles to zap them so to speak, like it will confuse your muscles.
