I started Vyvanse back in August 2010, and it was the miracle that I've been searching for. Over a span of 4 years, I've taken stimulants including: Concerta, 30mg Adderall IR, and 30mg Adderall XR. Concerta gave me migraines. Adderall XR completely sucked. Adderall IR was the best medication that I found until Vyvanse. Now I think Adderall is horrible in comparison. I've been taking 30mg of Vyvanse for a few months now. This has been my adjusted dose from trying 20mg, 30mg, and 50mg.

I am on sertariline Zoloft and I am also taking a beta blocker called propananol- these two in combination with an adhd medicine sort of makes it lost its effect. I need help organizing my thoughts and not misplacing things and a steady stream of medicine with out highs or lows. What is the most effective drug Concerta or Vyvanse or any other suggestions? I have heard of daytrana as well, but I'm an adult. I'm slowly getting everything back together.

He then prescribed to me the amphetamine, Vyvanse (30mg). I was to take it the very next morning after breakfast. I have had very few problems with the my other medications, like the antidepressant, Zoloft (50mg), and the antihistamine, Zyrtec (10mg). He is currently taking Focalin 5 Mg twice per day for the Hyperactivity and the doctor wants to try Zoloft starting at 12.5 MG this weekend. He has been unsuccessful due to tics, td, and sleep disturbance on med trials of all of the following other meds: Celexa, Prozac, Abilify, Risperdal, Strattera, Vyvanse, Methylin and Adderall. Any thoughts on what direction we should be going with him? We feel like we are running out of options.

He is taking meds that I feel couter act one another....reperidone.25mg 2 x day, vyvanse 30 mg 1 x a day, zoloft 1/2 25mg a day, and methyphidate 10 mg 1 x a day in afternoon. Help. Does these different medicines seem necessary. He is still have concentration issues.

I take 40 mg of vyvanse and I also suffer depression. I was given lexapro 10 mg. i found it self-defeating i was tire all the time and unable to focus or work. are there better combinations for depression and adhd? by the way, he took me off of lexapro. I've tried zoloft, gave me a skin rash. Also at one time i was on wellbrutin and stratera. i liked the well brutin but the straterra made me feel weird. any suggestions? I feel pretty hopeless...

Hello. I have recently been prescribed zoloft and dextroamfetamine (vyvanse). My dose has just been raised to 150 zoloft and 50 vyvanse. I am feeling dizzy, I'm sweating like crazy lying down in a cold room, and I've thrown up a few times since I took the increased dosages earlier today. Occasionally it feels like my heart has butterfly wings too. Am I just having panic attacks? I heard the dex can increase anxiety... I don't have insurance here...

What vitamins /supplements at night should you not take with lunesta /zoloft? Can you take fish oil? Also Vyvanse //// anything to stear clear of... Vitamin /supplement wise? Is Vitamin C safe? and a Honest green tea? Or Zinc??? Since it is that time of year of sick stuff spreading/// Please let me know....

I dont know if it would be the medications that I am on but they are zoloft 100mg, vyvanse 50mg daily. I told my doctor and he gave me muscle relaxers and they dont seem to help. I also feel dizzy, and very sensitive to light and sound. my feet and hands sweat constantly. please help! I am tired of twitching.

Of course I weaned him off and after 2 years, he is finally normal again and only takes Vyvanse for his ADHD. The Vyvanse has worked great and he has been taking it for 1 year. When my son went off the zoloft after 2 months his tics decreased and most of the side effects went away. I told my doctor that I took him off since I had told her before that he was having problems and all she did was raise the dose.

I have been drinking daily for over 6 months I finally told my doc who was presribing me vyvanse zoloft and xanax she told me not to stop cold turkey which makes it hard b/c if I have i drink I want another with no sucess in the last month my doc finally said no more xanax or klonopin until you get this under control and wean yourself off so thats alittle scary in it self I am determined to do it but I am so affraid of the withdrawl I was thinking about weaning off slowly this week and then

He has been on ADHD medication since he was 4 and now newly diagnosed with OCD. They think the Vyvanse is making the OCD sympotms worse. I can see this since we placed him on Zoloft for the OCD things have improved somewhat. I feel so bad for him becuase our personalities are so different. Hello and thanks for taking my question. In July 2008 I switched over from Zoloft and Invega to Wellbutrin and Cymbalta. At that time, these were my only medications. In August 08, when I stood up from my chair, my legs had terrible tremors. They were so bad that I had to hold onto the desk. This still happens today. I also experience leg tremors when descending stairs - but not going up. I get minor tremors while going from a standing to a sitting position.

He's on; Dextrosmphetamine 10mg, Vyvanse 70mg, and Zoloft 50mg in the AM and then Abilify 5mg at night. He is a very quiet child and I worry with taking all these meds he's anger issues will get worse. The doctor says he has both long term and short term memory loss and anxiety. I don't believe either. My 14 yr old son has a diagnosis of ADHD and ODD. He is on Vyvanse. Intuniv and Zoloft. He attends a private school for children with Behavioral and Developmental Challenges. The therapist we work with has mentioned some mood disorders as well. We tried Abilify for awhile, which had increased his appetite and he has gained 25 pounds in 3 months. We took him off this medicine because of the appetite issues, as well as not seeing a big difference.

Right now im currently on an ADHD medication called vyvanse and I started that in october and Im also on zoloft which I started in august of 2007. I am on a anti-depressant (Zoloft), (Vyvanse) for ADHD and birth control. I am adopted so I am not sure of my family history. I have never had any digestive issues until early last December. The first thing I noticed is when I went to the bathroom I had a hard time and did not feel like I was completely emptying my bowls. I had random pain when I was at school in my lower quadrants that would gradually get worse and go away then come back later.

I was diagnosed with depression at 14 and then bipolar later on. I was n zoloft but self unmedicated at 20 because of the side affects. I tried multiple anitdepressants and had a difficult time with them mostly because each had it's own postives and negatives. I was diagnosed with ADD at 5 and was on ritalin until I did the same thing with that at 20 as I did with the anitdepressants.
