Hello. I have recently been prescribed zoloft and dextroamfetamine (vyvanse). My dose has just been raised to 150 zoloft and 50 vyvanse. I am feeling dizzy, I'm sweating like crazy lying down in a cold room, and I've thrown up a few times since I took the increased dosages earlier today. Occasionally it feels like my heart has butterfly wings too. Am I just having panic attacks? I heard the dex can increase anxiety... I don't have insurance here...

Hi there, looking for insight on lifestyle habits to better manage bipolar and ADHD disorder. Taking 600mg of lithium and 30mg of vyvanse. Wondering what nutrition choices, sleep patterns and work loads people adopt to better manage there experences with or without the medication. Also looking for information on dealing with anxiety as a result of school stress and side effects from medication.

I dont know if it would be the medications that I am on but they are zoloft 100mg, vyvanse 50mg daily. I told my doctor and he gave me muscle relaxers and they dont seem to help. I also feel dizzy, and very sensitive to light and sound. my feet and hands sweat constantly. please help! I am tired of twitching.

He mentioned that there is a new medication called Vyvanse and asked if I would like to try it. With nothing to lose, I said yes. I do like Vyvanse. It works for me, I am happy, motivated, and just feel more like me. I don't have any side effects from it either. I've not heard of Daytrana before. So that must be a new one as well? Also I used to take Adderall XR and that is a great medicine as well. I just took it for so long that it started to not work and help me the same way anymore.

I started Vyvanse back in August 2010, and it was the miracle that I've been searching for. Over a span of 4 years, I've taken stimulants including: Concerta, 30mg Adderall IR, and 30mg Adderall XR. Concerta gave me migraines. Adderall XR completely sucked. Adderall IR was the best medication that I found until Vyvanse. Now I think Adderall is horrible in comparison. I am on a anti-depressant (Zoloft), (Vyvanse) for ADHD and birth control. I am adopted so I am not sure of my family history. I have never had any digestive issues until early last December. The first thing I noticed is when I went to the bathroom I had a hard time and did not feel like I was completely emptying my bowls. I had random pain when I was at school in my lower quadrants that would gradually get worse and go away then come back later.

He is taking meds that I feel couter act one another....reperidone.25mg 2 x day, vyvanse 30 mg 1 x a day, zoloft 1/2 25mg a day, and methyphidate 10 mg 1 x a day in afternoon. Help. Does these different medicines seem necessary. He is still have concentration issues.

I have spoken to his neurologist and he said that he needs a mood stabilizer so my son will now be taking Abilify 5 mgs everyday along with the Zoloft and Vyvanse. Please keep your fingers crossed that this will work. The school is talking about pulling him out of his regular class and putting him in a special ed class because of the interruptions he causes.

I have aspergers and zoloft helps me deal with my environment. I can handle noises, changes, and people in general much better now, I do not get angry or phobic so soon any more. So i guess my environment thinks this has improved my behaviour ; ) Just watch it: zoloft has to be started and stopped very carefully,with the help of a physician !

He also was put on Zoloft which made things worse and caused tics. He currently takes only Vyvanse and this helps wonderfully. He went off the Zoloft 1 year after being on it and the tics stopped completely, but still had trouble with the outbursts and anger. My question is about my current dosage of Adderall. But first, I'd like to share my background with those of you reading this. Bear with me, this post is very long. I was finishing the last months of undergrad I found myself extremely depressed. It came to the point where I could not wake up in the morning without crying. I was prescribed (by my Psych that was with me during recovery) Vyvanse. I was scared as hell, rightfully so but so far it has changed my life. I finally feel normal. He also gave me a 10mg "booster" as the Vyvanse only seems to cover me from 7am to about 2pm. I was on 100% d-amp but just yesterday switched to a new drug (Evekeo) which is 50% d-amp and 50% l-amp.. Also, the euphoria associated with a first time vyvanse high will make you feel great.

They put him on concerta and zoloft. When he was put on the Zoloft, I told the psychiatrist that I did not like this idea and that I was scared of what could go wrong with the med. She explained that this would help him and he would be fine. After 1 month of taking Zoloft, he started hitting anyone that tried to discipline him. He also got tics from this which resulted in putting things in his ear, throwing things, and hearing things in his head. He never could sleep either.

I would talk to your doc, you definitely are not the only person who has experienced dissatisfaction with Vyvanse. Good luck!

The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

Ryannn94, First of all, I am very sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time; not only medically but with your friends, school, and stresses of everything else. I can surely sympathize with you and remember the confusion, frustration, and anger of emotions I felt trying to sort through everything. PLEASE HANG IN THERE!!!! First, some kinda good news: I have experience with the medications you are taking. I take them both now and have for a long time.

I am not addressing drug addiction — just what my doctor says is a common prescribing practice with Vyvanse.
