Celexa does not give me fatigue but I do take it at bedtime like I did with the Zoloft. The Celexa does not work as well as the zoloft did but it took many many months for the zoloft to kick in so hoping someday the celexa works just as well.

Hello Paxiled, I think you misunderstood my suggestion to countryboy105. I wasn't telling him to take Wellbutrin instead of Zoloft. I was just mentioning that my family doctor told me that Wellbutrin has the least amount of side effects compared to other antidepressants. Countryboy105 didn't mention why he has been prescribed Zoloft. His reasons are personal. I wasn't aware that Zoloft was prescribed for people who have anxiety issues.

Thanks Rebekah. I've decided to stay on the zoloft. I guess it's the lesser of 2 evils. Zoloft vs. depression. Neither is great for baby.

Depends on your md but zoloft and wellbutrin( no clue how to spell that) are frequently prescribed to pregnant women. Also depends on how severe the depression is a risks vs benefits thing. As far as anxiety not really sometimes anti depressants help. My md said take benadryl, it doesn't make you less anxious but makes you sleepy...

hi i dont currently have a dr at this time, and i am on wellbutrin and i am wanting to ween off of it and start taking zoloft can someone tell me how to ween off of the wellbutrin i am taking it 2 times a day 150 mg and its not working for me. i am waiting to see a new therapist at the end of the mnth but need to get off of these meds. please help me someone. thanks!

ok i have been on wellbutrin sr for about 8 mnths now and i am not feeling any better. i found out that this med is not an srii but an snri i need to know which is the best medication for depression in the srii category. i have an eating disorder issues and am highly concerned about weight gain and increased appetite i hate being on meds but sometimes we have to do what we have to do to save our lives. but i will not take a med that causes this.

re taking wellbutrin and Zoloft together and think the wellbutrin is working but not the Zoloft. See my response to your other post for my thoughts about this, but you do need to clear up the confusion as to what you're doing now so people here can help better.

This definitely could be withdrawal from the Zoloft and not the Wellbutrin. Zoloft is an SSRI and Wellbutrin is an atypical antidepressant...it's hard to transition from one drug to another when they're not from the same "family." I did manage to transition from Abilify (an antipsychotic) to Wellbutrin last fall so it can done but it was a rough few weeks. If the symptoms don't seem to be easing up at all you should go back to your doctor.

I've been on wellbutrin since the second week of April. Slowly came off of zoloft at that time. Since then I feel I have not seen much help. I am crying constantly and continously thinking about "what if's". I feel I am putting my life in fast forward thinking of the worse case scenario such as family dying children moving away and being left alone. I went to see my doctor last week and he added zanax as needed and mentioned adding zoloft back with the wellbutrin.

I am going to try to quit smoking. My doctor prescribed Zoloft. Why? I am not depressed. (I am 66 and have smoked since about 14).

I would switch gradually to Cymbalta and see what happens rather than being on both. As for the Wellbutrin added to the mix it could help with libido since dopamine is in play. Both Zoloft and Wellbutrin sounds like something you could try before getting on Cymblata. I don't think you shoud mix Cymbalta with Wellbutrin personally.

Can Zoloft, Wellbutrin and Trazodone be taken all together? I am trying to wean off of wellbutrin and start trazodone for depression and stay on zoloft for anxiety. If someone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

My father killed himself when I was 2 so my thinking process from the wellbutrin is scaring me. I still have some Zoloft. Should I stop the wellbutrin and restart Zoloft immediately? This is such a terrible feeling. Anyone ever have this problem with wellbutrin?

Hi everyone, Long story short, I tried going off zoloft without success, fell into a deep depression in late Dec, and was put back on zoloft in early January. At the time I was taking Nefazodone and recently weaned off of that. I was on 50 mg Z for 3 weeks and was bumped up to 75 mg one week ago. My anxiety has been bad so I am taking klonopin for that. I'm not doing well emotionally and thought the zoloft would work by now since it's been a full month.

I just spoke to my doctor about starting Zoloft and I'm so freaked out that I think I'm going to lose my mind! First off I went through the horror of the Paxil withdrawals and I hear that Zoloft is also very hard to get off of. I seem to have issues with anxiety and depression and my doctor seems to think that this will help with both of the issues as Paxil seemed to. Here's the catch though, when I was taking Paxil it totally killed my sex drive and made me very tired.

I also take 300mg of Wellbutrin each day and have for 2 years. Do you think I should lower my Wellbutrin dose or my Zoloft dose or both? I was switched from a Wellbutrin/Lexapro combo to the Wellbutrin/Zoloft combo due to the fact that I had been on Lexapro for over 3 years and it stopped working. I have OCD, GAD, and depression. I'm sorry for confusing you. Let me start over, I've been on Zoloft 20yrs and it just isn't working that good at all. I'm only taking 25MG Tab. I tried 50MG and 100 but the higher I went with the Zoloft Medicine, the more Depressed I got. I could only take 25MG the Dr that put me on the Zoloft was an experienced psychiatrist and told me I was suffering from PMDD. I couldn't afford to continue going to see him, so I started getting my Meds (Zoloft) through my Primary Care Dr.

I wanted to switch from Zoloft (only have been on it for 3 months 50mg) to Wellbutrin XL 150mg once per day. Zoloft made me gain weight which made my depression worse. I am not good at taking more than one pill per day and I know with Wellbutrin, and Wellbutrin SR, more than one is required. I would wanted a timed release anyway, with one pill only. My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking.

Zoloft makes me extremely sleepy and also I have gained weight while taking it so my doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin SR 150mg to take with the Zoloft. I started the Wellbutrin yesterday and was fine throughout the day until evening came. I felt all of a sudden that I was back to being 'in my head' again and all of the problems I had before taking Zoloft came back full force.

Could I have my doc wean me from the Zoloft to see how I tolerate it? Or should I try the weaning over to Wellbutrin to see if it is any better? I hate the sexual side effects, and I really need more energy. The Topamax fog is bad enough at times, I really don't like adding the Zoloft fog to it. Any advice is appreciated.

I was wondering if reducing the Wellbutrin to 150 and adding Zoloft would be good? I took Zoloft in the past and it worked. I think the Wellbutrin is good for fibromyalgia and I don't want to give it up completely.
