1429536 tn?1283127572 Does anyone know what will happen during a Zoloft overdose? I am diagnosed with Bipolar 1 and ADHD and impulsiveness is a huge problem. I took probably 15 - 20 100 mg Zoloft pills. About 10 minutes later my boyfriend made me make myself puke. I didn’t see any come back up unless they hid in my food. I feel very weird right now. Am I going to be ok?

Avatar n tn re under the supervision of your doctor. Many of these types of meds need to be tapered and Zoloft is one of them. When you resumed taking it and realized you had mistakenly taken 200mg, you probably should have called your doctor or pharmacist for advise, and since you are still feeling not so great, I'd call someone . Being the week-end, you probably won't reach your doctor, so try your local pharmacist.
2052200 tn?1332429084 I did something silly a couple of weeks ago - I overdosed on Zoloft. A couple of days later I started to experience vivid hallucinations and was quite worried. It's been a few weeks now since the overdose and the hallucinations have got a lot better, but I still have a problem where sometimes my eye where if I look at something for too long it merges all together and sometimes my eyes just form random images or patterns - especially in the dark.

3094157 tn?1340937202 I have been on Zoloft for over 12yrs due to a TBI when I was 17 and initially I remember if I had any alcohol it would cause me to hit rock bottom. But I have been having a glass or two of wine every night for about a month. I haven't noticed too much change in my mood but I'm concerned about the long-term affects on my body. Does anyone know? Thanks!
Avatar f tn who prescribed me ativan and Zoloft, would not prescribe me the valium. Adventually I came off the Zoloft due to the side effects. The Ativan did its job for awhile but i was taking "too" much a day according to him so he just put me on Klonopin 4mg per day. It seems to be fine keeping me calm and not too many side effects but it is not helping with random anxiety onsets nor is it helping me with sleep.
Avatar m tn I was told to stop taking my antidepressant because I may get an overdose of seretonin. Otherwise know as Seritonin Syndrome. I stopped CT and have been tapering off tramadol for 2 weeks. I would not recommend to anyone to stop their antidepressant CT. Here's what an article said about stopping an antidepressant suddenly. "If you decide to stop taking antidepressants, it’s essential to taper off slowly.
Avatar f tn Oh wow really? The neurologist Dr. Motgi to be exact told me oh You'll be fine... He also gave me zoloft that I cannot take with tramadol which I use for pain. It can cause serotonin overdose!
Avatar m tn If it is arteritic then large doses of oral cortison are needed to get the sed rate down. The section on emedicine is especially good. If its non-arteritic there is no treatment for the eye problem and visual recovery is usually good. Again emedicine entry is excellent.
Avatar n tn But more importantly, you need to tell him what the zoloft is doing to you. That is a side effect that would indicate an overdose and the dose needs to be changed or at the least the time of the dose. Long story short, I can give you all kinds of links about ADD and what it does to people. But, you need to start taking control of your life. Call your doctor.

2052200 tn?1332429084 I have a tendency to overdose impulsively which worries me, but also after the overdose I am worried that if I start taking antidepressants again it might trigger some of the reactions I spoke about in my earlier post. Do you think that is possible or should I not worry? Again, thanks for any replies.
