Zoloft jittery

Common Questions and Answers about Zoloft jittery

zoloft

Avatar m tn Well I was out chopping down bamboo during my "jittery" phase so perhaps my "jittery" equates to your "wired up with crazy energy." Have you ever taken anything past 3 weeks?
Avatar f tn Now wide awake and have to be up to work in 2 hours. Has this ever happened to anyone?? I also take my 12.5 zoloft in morning will this make me more jittery??
Avatar f tn I was scripted for 25 mg Zoloft with 1/2 tablet first day then whole tablet there after. I did that and my chest pains went thru the roof along with the anxiety and jittery. I have a script for .5 mg Ativan that I half and take. Called psychiatrist and said to go back down to half (12.5) to see if it helps. I take it in the morning as when I took it at night I didn't sleep for 2 days. I have to be at work at 6 am so I take Zoloft 5am.
7389797 tn?1390595724 I experienced the jittery/wired sensations after I first started the Zoloft the first day (I take mine at bedtime), and it started improving after about 5 days or so. It was annoying but tolerable. With each dosage increase, the jittery feeling was less severe and definitely didn't last nearly as long, maybe about 2 days, but it was present for sure.
Avatar f tn I felt a little depressed with the anxiety and he started me on Zoloft at the beginning of November. I have been having the jittery caffeine feeling with this med consistently having to take klonopin ..25mg in the am with the dose as it seems to be works about 5 hours post dose. These symptoms did get somewhat better over time but I have tried to stop the klonopin twice and the jittery feeling returns.
Avatar m tn You mentioned you are not taking Zoloft when they suggested you take it, however I am not sure what your go forward plan is. Are you taking the traz? Are you planning to switch Zol to their times?
Avatar m tn Doctor prescribed me Zoloft (well the generic) and I started taking it yesterday. 50 mgs for the first week then if all is well 100 mgs. Today my pupils have been huge all day. Was also a little jittery and felt weird. Anyone else on Zoloft? What about the pupils? This is my first time taking an SSRI.
Avatar f tn I started getting panic attacks the year before last I only had two and then last year I had an episode where they kept happening. It's getting better now I see a therapist once a month but they still want to put me on medication and I'm scared to take it I had an adverse drug reaction but Celexa last June. My mom and dad finally talked me into trying that hydroxyzine which is basically Benadryl and it helps a little bit.
956433 tn?1255977108 my head feels like it weighs 100 pounds, and feels all jittery anyone else feeling like this? oo and although this may sound weird iv noticed that zoloft gives me intense sensations to the point of passing out when i orgasam during sex or masturbating, im actually kinda nervous to have sex now cause i dont like the way it feels when i climax. its like im having a super orgasm and then afterward i feel weird as hell, anyone else get this crazyy *** symptom..
Avatar f tn Well both Prozac and Zoloft take weeks to kick in fully. What was your side effect on Prozac?
Avatar m tn This is going to be kind of stupid to ask because I'm sure nearly all of you have been prescribed zoloft for depression, if you've been prescribed it before... but how did zoloft work for your anxiety? They prescribed me some during my hospital stay for my anxiety. I'm already less jittery but feeling anxious a bit still but I know that will take a week or so to take full effect.
Avatar f tn I take my zoloft and ativan in morning as it me jittery and causes insomnia. I have seasonal allergies and was wondering the best OTC antihistamine would work better. Allegra, Zyrtec or loratadine. I was on 12.5 zoloft for 2 weeks and tapering up to 25 mg (split another 12.5 in half so 3/4 a pill then one whole 25 mg. I have to do this slowly as I am super sensitive to meds. Thanks for any help. Plus I eventually need to taper down my ativan when I level on the zoloft.
Avatar m tn I took only 1 weeks worth of Zoloft before my pyschiatrist and I agreed it didn't agree with me. While on it, I suffered from extreme sweating and insomnia. I have been off of it now for 4 days, and I still am experiencing sweating, insomnia, as well as jittery-ness and restless legs. Can these symptoms be a by-product of withdrawal and still have trace amounts of the Zoloft in my system? Can I expect these to go away in another day or two?
Avatar f tn I was just wondering if it's normal with the first couple of days of use of Zoloft if it's common for it to make you a little more anxious and if so how long before it subsides?
2036568 tn?1330482758 I have been taking zoloft for 7 days now and I am feeling non stop wrestless and nervous. I can't sleep .. seems my brain never stops thinking! I feel jittery like I can't sit still for long. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and did it go away or did you need to stop the med's? HELP!!!!
Avatar m tn I started zoloft two anda half weeks ago. I started to feel ok for one or two days but I feel like I crashed. Feel severely fatigued. If zoloft works won't I feel better on a consistent basis or is that how it kicks in, you feel ok and then feel bad. The day that I felt the best I couldn't get to sleep that night that triggered I think the fatigue. How will I know if it is working?
Avatar f tn Called my therapist several time but I guess he is ignoring my calls.Just completed 5 days of zoloft, not sure this is a result of my medication, can't calm down. Any advise would be helpful ?
Avatar f tn There is no normal. There is only what you feel, as we all have different responses.
Avatar n tn So I started taking Zoloft for mild depression about 7mths ago. I used to drink a rockstar energy drink everyday to help me keep up with my 2 energetic toddlers. I began having a hard time catching my breath shortly after I got on the meds. After exhausting all other culprits, I figured out that I was suddenly hyper-sensitive to caffeine. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd like to find a medication that doesn't have this effect on me as I REALLY need my caffeine jolt lol.
6579347 tn?1388502368 Hi, folks - I'm on day 70-ish (don't have my calendar!) on Zoloft. Have been on 50 mg. for 10 days. At the same time I increased to 50, I got ambushed by a wicked sinus infection that included steroids, 2 uber stressful weeks at work, and still working through a family death from a couple months ago. Saw my therapist, and assured me I was doing ok for everything I was trying to manage. So - my question. I got to a really good place on 37.
990051 tn?1249190363 THANK YOU! I think Paxil is marketed as Aropax in Australia...I had the most unbelievable time on that...I have actually warned my husband (whenever I've been given ANY medication for ANY medical condition) to watch for changes in my behaviour/personality...I went off them cold turkey, I went through a really difficult 5 years after that I was SO put off medications for anything related to AD's/Anxiety Med's etc.
Avatar f tn Hi again all, Just a quick one.. gone up to 25mgs (4th day ) and have noticed 2-3hrs later I may get woozy and shaky.. though my heart rate is fine and I don't feel anxious. I am prone to low blood sugar if I don't eat which will produce the same feeling.. I did read somewhere that Zoloft can affect your blood glucose levels.. Is this a side effect of the tablets.. kinda assume it is.. not a stranger to feeling shaky..
Avatar f tn wellbutrin and zoloft have made me agitated, wellbutrin was very bad and made me jittery, be cautious with the zoloft. you may not be able to tolerate the ssris which is common. zoloft may be more sedative for you. zoloft has seemed to have done well with my anxiety though and i am happy to report that i slept great last night FINALLY with no Klonopin help, i hope it continues. I like what you have to say about compassion and i agree. the world could use alot more of it.
Avatar m tn Also, my anxiety over taking the zoloft (or the zoloft itself) has seemed to negate any benefit I was getting from the klonopin. Now, I am only taking 0.25 mg klonopin at a time. Is this dose enough to have an impact on anxiety? My psych says he wants me calmed way down, even if that means taking an additional .25 mg of klon a day. the goal is to get me to Zoloft only, with no need for mirtazapine or klonopin at all.
Avatar n tn I would like to know if I have taken Zoloft for about two weeks, one a 25 mg and now for four days 50 mg. can I stop and how do you di o it and cut it back. My doctor seems to thing I have a anxiety disorder because I worry about my health sometimes. I have had a few panic attacks over the year and became afraid of them. He thought I might try this drug. I really don't like medicines and I am just afraid of them and the side effects. Can you advise what to do.
