Morning are hell for me.
m going to try meditation instead or just reading a book my problem is getting to sleep and staying asleep. Maybe you should try taking your Zoloft in the morning. Per website the most effective hours are between 4-8 houtrs so it's working and waking you up in the night. I switched yesterday and didn't feel that drama like I usually felt last night just couldn't sleep,but like I said that was nerves ...
Still suffering with morning anxiety. Took a leave from work, took off a semester from school, frustrated, can't get interested in doing anything. On zoloft x 2 weeks hope this will help. My family very supportive. Tried riding my bike in the morning, doesn't help. Wish I could interested in something. I keep going on the internet but it makes me more depressed.
it makes my blood pressure go up temporarily from 115/74ish to 137/82 or so. is this a normal thing in the morning? It is causing me to wake up in the night with panic attack like symptoms. I have been to a card. and had ekg, stress test and echocardiogram. thyroid fine sugar levels fine. This is only in the morning and middle of the night.Doctor can't find anything wrong and want me to take antidepressants. I am totally fearful of med. and side effects.
I took my first dose of Cymbalta in the evening, because the script said it caused drowsiness. I was wide awake all night and went to work the following day. Has anyone had a problem with this med at night? Now I'm not taking anything. I'm a mess. Probably going through withdrawals. Please help. I can't reach my doctor.
Me! I do feel little weak and "slow" in the mornings but after eating breakfast im just fine. Night times I feel restless and nauseous and been havin cramps some nights too!
I will provide a timeline of my diarrhea, which always occurs in the Morning, more or less.
6/17 - Morning Diarrhea
6/18 - Morning Diarrhea
6/19 - Morning Diarrhea
6/20 - nothing. - consumed alcohol at night.
6/21 - normal, though loose stool.
6/22 - nothing. consumed large quanity of alcohol.
6/23 - two loose stools, but solid.
6/24 - one loose stool, little watery.
6/25 - nothing.
6/26 - dark diarrhea.
ve been told by my doc that in the morning the serotoin levels in the brain are at their lowest, which is the hormone that is connected to mood and emotion. Hence why when we are anxious or depressed the doc's give us SSRI drugs. This is one reason why you proberly feel at your worst first thing, also you may be worried by what the day holds for you and so this plays a part.
Hi, I've been on Zoloft for 15yrs (50mg) for debilitating anxiety. Zoloft gave me my life back (also did a lot of CBT). I have still had panic attacks on Zoloft (but rarely) and usually I have triggered it by having too much alcohol followed by little sleep - a lethal combination for me. Overall Zoloft has been a Godsend and the only issue I've had is a lack of libido. After in depth discussions with my Dr's I had accepted that Zoloft was part of my life and that was ok.
Lexapro and Zoloft are in the same class of medications known as SSRIs, which are usually prescribed long term to help treat depression and/or anxiety. Xananx is a benzo which is prescribed as needed usually on a short term basis because it can become extremely addictive in my opinion. In my experience both classes of medication are good at what they are designed for.
As to what medication is best for you, we all react and prefer different types of medication in my opinion...
My heart and mind are still racing and I have the irrational thoughts. I have been on zoloft less than two weeks.A I take Zoloft in the AM, and I think it starts working at 12, cause from the time I wake up until 12 I am at wits end. Then by 5pm I feel good, I go to sleep and wake up in the AM with my sheets soaked.
I think my mind just keeps going at night even though I am knocked out.
I wake up early in the morning drenched in sweat, then I start to vomit big time. This lasts the better part of the day and usually happens about once a month. I am 56 and had a hysterectomy 6 years ago. Could the sweating (ringing the nightgown out kind) be messing with my electrolytes? Could it still be a menopause problem? Tests have ruled out any heart problem. Am on medication for blood pressure, take Lipitor, and Zoloft. Anyone have any ideas?
ve read about brain shivers upon withdrawal from zoloft but currently experience brain shivers whilst taking zoloft. I take the zoloft in the morning and by about 3pm or 4pm begin getting the electric shocks in my brain. I used to get this only if i missed a dose but they are quite regular now and i am consistent with taking my meds. Do you know why this would happen? My doctors do not recognise these brain shivers.
I think it's probably mostly due to your anxiety. In my experience, the Zoloft related increased anxiety feels different, more like a jittery, shaky, wired feeling (like you drank a LOT of coffee).
You're 5 days in, which is super...I think you should call your doctor, and ask about temporarily increasing your Xanax dose. He/she needs to know that the anxiety is severe, and pretty much constant.
As for the therapist, it's inexcusable that he's not returning your calls.
I was thinking of taking the Buspar in the day and the Zoloft at night? Any suggestions? 2) I am a little confused with the Buspar order. The insert/instruction state to take it on a regular basis to achieve a theraputic level. Will it help to take it whenever? Since my anxiey is pretty extreme now, I thought perhaps I should take it daily. Suggestion? My doctor did not explain anything to me. 3) Will I have a reaction starting both at the same time with no dose increments/increase?
I didn't. I take my Zoloft in the am and loratadine in the pm. but I dont see why you can't take them at the same time. there's hardly or no interaction at all.
In another they resolved following a massage from your husband. Both the massage and the Zoloft are ways of alleviating stress. Once the stress was eased, the symtoms went away.
Some of what you describe could be caused by MS, but MS does not respond this way. If your symptoms had been caused by MS, neither Zoloft nor massage would have relieved them.
