zoloft bruising

I recently have experienced extreme depression so I am on a combo of Zoloft, Wellbutrin, and Xanax for the past month. The past few weeks I have occasionally bleeding dark brown blood even though I have been on the BC for 5 months and i’m not due for another period for another month. Last week I noticed that my lips were hurting extremely although they were not dry or cracked and also knowing that I’m not allergic to anything. This rash is mainly on the bottom of my lower lip.

I am 6 weeks post Tx, and notice I am still bruising easily. I am really not expecting my platelets to go right back up to what they were, before Tx (I was 120 prior to Tx, 90 in the middle, and ended Tx with a low, of 66!) I am trying to eat alot of nutritious food, to build up my blood again, extra protein and veggies, etc.

Since then the bruises on both arms were she had blood drawn has gotten worst. Bruising in spots where the blood was not taken, but still in the same area. About a year ago I had problems with easy bruising along with gut issues after a antibiotic treatment. I always feared that I may have been infected from a affair I had with another women, almost 3 years ago. We had unprotected sex a total of 3 times.

I understand why doctors say the bruising is from clumsiness. But I also have bruising on my inner thighs, kinda hard to bump into something right there. Just from yesterday I have 5 new bruises and I DID NOT bump into anything. There must b another explanation.

Where do you inject? I get bad bruising/site reaction when I inject in my thighs because I don't have much fat there. When I inject into abdominal fat (I have plenty) the reaction is much less and does not last long.

I am in my 10th week of treatment of Peg/Riba, I am having major bruising issues. If i so much as bump something Im getting bruises that are huge and purple. Is this common? Thank you for your input!!!!!

no bruising here....but I TOTALLY believe you! My son kicks me so hard Ive had to go sit down from it hurts so bad. He is head down right now and he kicks up near my ribs or kicks out it KILLS....

I know that bumping into things can be caused by ms, but I don't know about the bruising. I have a lot of them too, but I just figure it's because I keep falling, and bumping into things.

What causes bruising when no injuries were involved? I have always experienced a problem with bruising easily, getting blood work done for it, but I was just curious to know if anyone else may have a possible answer to why this may be? I get several, all over, some major, others not too bad, but I don't know where most, if not all of them, what caused them or where they came from.

I did go to my doctor today about this bruising , He looked into the bruised for few second only and said its fine and walk away. The nurse said that maybe twisting my body had pulled something inside that cause the bleeding , but it doesn't look hematoma, never gave any options on how to treat the bruising. I guess not to worry about., myself I do because its kind of blackened color but hoping it will go away a period of time, I just thankful it doesn't hurt.

She has always had an enlarged breast on the side of the tumor, some lymph and some scar tissue from past radiation in the area. MOre recently she ash developed bruising/purpling of teh breast adn rib area on the side of the tumor. What is this a sign of? side effect from past radiaiton. Sign of cancer moving to the breast? side effect of medication (she recently recieved an in dwelling pain pump.

My 33 year old son has had surfacing bruising come up on his chest and stomach in the last couple of days.

actually if you get hurt and you think you might bruise if you apply pressure to the area for a few min it will reduce the amount of bruising you get.. bruising is bleeding under the skin and as with any bleeding if you apply pressure.. its going to bleed less.. thus reducing the size of the bruise. if you tighten your muscles it will most likely hurt but it will get better quicker..

See your doc to be safe, but occasional blindness could be due to eyes are adjusting. Standing up to quickly could make you dizzy for anyone. See the doc and if is diabetes you can get it under control. If it's nothing, then hey at least you know now.

I also bruise easily, but perhaps not as easily as you. The bruising easily might be a result of a platelet disorder, which there are blood tests for. It could also be due to anemia - have you had this checked? Anemia is also common n fibro. I hope this helps a little bit!
