zofran not working for morning sickness

Anyone else try any medication for morning sickness? What worked for you, and how long did it take for it to start working for you? Thank you so much!

Zofran is category b drug. Your baby is safe :) I had to take that as well in the beginning and now I am 34w4d with twin girls who are very healthy. Also I work in a pharmacy. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Well I was going to say zofran but I guess that's not working for ya :/ I'm sorry it worked for me enough to be able to tend to my son and have somewhat of a little appetite..hopefully you will grow out of it soon but you can always talk to your doctor and see what they think..baby should be fine though just try and stay as hydrated as possible!

How long have you been on zofran? It took about a week for it to start working for me, didnt happen right away. And I had to stay on it, not miss a pill, or else I would get sick again.

I'm 21 weeks and still have morning sickness. My doctor prescribed me Zofran. She assured me that it's completely safe for baby and me.

My morning sickness is really intense I've tried everything I could think of and have read every article on ways to fix it and it's so bad I don't want to get out of bed all day and I have a 4 year old so it's not working. Anybody have a remedy that works for them???

they never prescribed me anything because no medicine is good for baby ao what I did was drink a glass of water(which would trigger the sickness), throw it up, then I would eat.

Having sever all day sickness and only thing working is zofran and just bought some things called preggie pops they seem to help , but looking for other alternatives ( can't stand the ginger taste/smell)) HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

Well i got Zofran from my dr not the hospital and she gave me refills . But if thats the case then try fruit , acidic fruit help . And Crackers before you get out of bed try spreading some peanut better on them for protein . I cut caffeine out of my diet completely that helped alot . You can also try the BRAT diet (bread , rice , applesauce and toast) bread and rice soak up the acid in your tummy . Andapplesauce is just easy to eat .

I've been suffering with severe morning sickness, especially nausea. I've tried a few different types of medication but they stopped worrying after a couple of days, including Zofran. Today I purchased Seabands and I don't feel the extreme nausea.

Is there anyway to stop morning sickness? I know there's a video on here that has tips to help prevent it but I'm not able to watch it. So I was wondering if anybody watched it or just has helpful tips.

I had morning sickness very bad. Zofran didn't help. Crackers didn't help. In bad days I got sick everytime I would drink or eat. And good days I got sick maybe 3-4 times. Just take it easy. It will ease up. And even though your sick all the time. Eat a lil. Smaller portions helped me a lil and Apple our orange juice.

So tired of it -_- I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and it's like my morning sickness hasn't subsided what so ever. -_- can't keep anything down.

m 8 weeks 1 day pregnant and for a good 3-4 weeks now I have been struggling with morning (all day) sickness. My Dr gave me zofran and it helped a little but lord have mercy did it make me constipated. Not sure which was worse! So....does anyone have suggestions how to make it go by a little easier. I'm vomiting 2-3 times a day and just constantly have upset tummy. I am taking a stool softener to help but have been sparse on the zofran. Any possible natural way to treat this feeling?

I used to have morning sickness but didn't throw up much either, it went away and ever since I hit 30 weeks I've been so nauseous it's getting bad.

Nothing helped my morning sickness, but they did prescribe zofan and diglesis (probably not spelt right). The diglesis was kinda expensive site but worked great..The zofran, not so much.

I'm Very sorry to hear that I no exactly what you're going through because I was the same way nothing natural helped so they had to prescribe me zofran... I'm sorry to say but you're just gonna have to indure it until your able to see an OB because prescription is probably the only thing that's gonna help you since u already tried all the natural remedies and nothings helping. It's gonna suck but just think about it its all worth it for your beautiful baby..

The bands are for motion sickness, morning sickness and u wear them on both arms.

i was sick all day everyday frim solids to liquids for the first 5 months and im having a boy. Secondly ask your doctor for zofran and although it wont make it go away it will subside it some to help you keep foods down. Also try really small meals throughout the day. Ive only gained 8 pounds my whole pregnancy and im 33 weeks but i started to have more of an appetite around week 30. Hope the zofran helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

( finally my dr gave me zofran and i took a half a pill twice a day it worked like a charm, or prego pops from babiesrus.

I had hyperemesis through 22w. During this time, I was prescribed 8mg of ondansetron (generic) to take every 8 hrs, then tapering off to 1/day over the course of ten weeks. I had a small return at about 28w, but I had backup pills to take just in case it got bad again. You and your ob should really talk about a prescription, if you haven't already.

I have had morning sickness for about 3 weeks. .today I had to go the ER bc I became dehydrated. This is my second child I passed out a lot with the first child bc of the same thing. Are there any suggestions, other than ginger ale and crackers, that you may have. I am over this!!

I'm 15 weeks 3 days. Without Zofran I still have morning sickness. It works wonders for me! How you feel better soon!
